Anyone know about Mediterranean or Greek cruising during Covid ?

I would like to cruise RCL's Odyssey out of Rome in September. Has anyone taken an overseas cruise recently? Italy doesn't currently allow US citizens as far as I know. RCL offers the cruise on it's website. Does RCL have a workaround that allows US citizens to travel? Thanks for any help!

This September? I'm booked on the Odyssey out of Rome in May. I've heard Europe may open this Summer requiring a Vacinne or negative covid test. I know Greece is opening. I would just keep watching the updates, but I wouldn't book anything until you have definitive answers. You could also call Royal, but I'm not sure how informed the customer service agents are.

RCL does not have a workaround that allows US citizens to travel.
Is there a workaround? Sure! If you're determined or desperate.

I've met several Europeans in Florida during the Pandemic, and their stories of how they got here are always interesting. I'm sure there are Americans traveling to Europe during the Pandemic in a similar fashion. (There are personal stories online, but I haven't met any of these people in person).

I would wait and see what changes are coming up this summer before booking anything. Of course, once the borders open up, there will most likely be a flood of people booking.

In a similar situation - have a late Sept mediterrean cruise on Harmony booked for our anniversary. It is looking like it will sail (assuming the test sailings go ok), but worried if there will be too many restrictions when docked at Ports to make it as enjoyable as can be. For example, if they have to limit crowds at tourist sites, it won't be worth it to sail this Fall.
