Anyone just back from the Poly?--pool still closed?

Hi, all! I'm leaving for the Poly this Saturday!! I heard about the volcano pool being closed during my stay (Mar 1-8). Just hoping it might have opened back up early. Has anyone been there recently, and did you use the GF pool? I saw on the boards that its not too bad of a walk to the GF pool. Bear in mind that I'm traveling with 4 year old twins!!

I can't believe we'll be there in a few days!!! I haven't been to disneyworld since I was a kid!!

I made my reservations last night for the Poly for our upcoming summer 08 trip and the cs rep from Disney I was speaking with, said that the volcano pool is currently being refurbished, under rehab so I'm assuming it wouldn't be ready by this Saturday. You may want to call personally though. Goodluck!

Oh and by the way, HAVE A MAGICAL time! Our trip this summer 08 is our kids very 1st wdw trip and I haven't been to Disney since 1993 and hubby and I are celebrating our anniversary while there. THE POLY & DISNEY.........just doesn't get any better I look forward to hearing a report trip from you and see some pics from your visit. Again, HAVE A GREAT TIME

Thanks, FairyDust2008!! I'm almost nervous to go because I've been planning so long and it doesn't feel real! I can't wait to see Cinderella's Castle! Have fun on your trip, too!!!

Have fun...yes you will LOVE the Poly and so will your kids. We may overlap you as we come down next Fri (7th). Missed those AP rates by 1 day...BUMMER! Anyways, I also called about the pool and they didn't seem hopeful it would be done by the time I got there but hopefully it's not an eyesore. I might take monorail to GF and walk back. It'll be fun to try a new pool and ambiance though.
