Just wondering how were the crowds at the pool???? I have never been to Disney in July and Im starting to wonder why I am going to give it a try this year!! :confused3 We are planning on doing alot of playing at the pool then going to the parks at night. Are the parks horrible this time of year????????????

Yes they are crowded but not to the point where you can't get in. You might not get a loungechair but there are plenty of regular chairs to go around. This will be our 3rd time at the the Beach Club or yacht Club for the 4th and we have never had a problem. Last year we were in the same spot every day for 8 days.

OK... this is going to sound really tacky, but here is what I do... I watch the lounge chairs. If there is no personal stuff and no one around for a reasonable period of time and the chair just has a towel on it I TAKE IT! I will also ask folks sitting around there.. "have you seen anyone here" If not, it's mine! Sorry, but I know some rude folks come down first thing in the morning and "block" chairs. That doesn't work in my world.

I have only been challenged once and I just looked at the person and said... "I thought the pool attendants just put these towels out to be nice" I also did not move, it was very apparent that these folks were just coming down from their room!

Way to go CarolA, i cant wait for the BC (going july 18-21 at BC). :wave2:

There was thread on this one time and someone reported following these rude folks around and "removing" the towels as they left. Unless I was already there, that is probably too much work but it sounded good!

I didn't think it was bad at all! It seemed a lot more crowded over by the zero-entry side near the Yacht Club where all the little kids were hanging out.

We were there June 2nd-12th. I only went in SAB once during our stay. Our two boys (12 & 16) would go for a little while, slide a couple of times and leave. Too many "little" kids for them. But I never saw where the pool was overly crowded. There were always empty lounge chairs around. Our one complaint was with the fact there are only a limited number of tubes available for the lazy river. People would go down early in the morning, rent a bunch of them and "store" them by their chairs. They weren't using them and were preventing anyone else from using them at the same time. I think the resort needs to change their policy with the tubes.

We spent more time at the YC quiet pool. We were often the only ones there. The water in the pool was much cooler than it was in SAB. When it's really hot, I go in the pool to cool off. I can't stand for it to feel like bathwater.

Are noodles allowed in SAB? We were there last summer and I don't remember seeing any but I wasn't looking for them either.

I just look at the person and say what kind of towel was it because I saw a person earlier in the day carrying about ten towels, I think he went over there. In fact, I know he had a couple of kids with him and a bit of a potbelly. He was rather hairy and slightly bald. He might have had a tatoo, but I am not sure. Did you just get up to go to the bathroom or what? How rude? Would you like me to go with you to report this? I think they might want a description of the guy. By the way, I am going swimming now, would you be so kind as to watch my chair so that guy doesn't try to remove my towel??? Thank you so much, see you around the resort.
