anyone joined Curves Canada?

I wondered how you like the program and results? What are the monthly fees, when i call they want you to come in before discussing, but i am so gullable that i want to be prepared before going in. I have heard monthly fees can be much higher then a gym, but with not all the features of club???

Are there any short term memberships and if so, how much?

I've never been myself but I recall some coworkers talking about it last year and I think they were talking about something like $35-$40/month + an initiation fee. There's a Curves near my house and every so often they seem to have specials - I'll bet you could go in and ask them for a weekly pass so you could try it for free.

Another alternative would be looking at a personal trainer. Not sure where in Ontario you are, but in Toronto there seem to be quite a few of them who have their own studios (make sure they're certified or have some training). You could always bring a friend along and split the cost.
