Anyone into non-animated disney films?

I was looking for the title of a disney film that had a giant red ballon airship that went to antartica?


Anybody know the name?


BTW I like Tron, Watcher in the woods, something wicked this way comes, the black hole and any other "darker" disney films.

Too bad they dont make those anymore..

I'm not sure, but I think you are referring to the movie "The Island at the Top of the World," which came out in Dec. 1974. It was about an airship named Hyperion that traveled above the Arctic Circle, not Antarctica.

I dont know the movie you refer to , but I think James idea sounds about right! I am not so much into the darker ones but I do like non animate Disney as well.....Parent Trap (both versions), Mary Poppins (altho there is a small piece of animation). When I was younger I just LOVED The Worlds Greatest Athlete starring Jan-Michael Vincent and Tim Conway. I guess that was back in the day when stars were hired to do a series of movies.
