Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

What do those that have their bands think of them comfort-wise? My very initial impression is that they are a bit oddly shaped when closed, not really round. I hope it evens out after awhile.

It won't. The active RFID technology inside the band, under where the Mickey head is, is like a rectangular shaped watch. That part isn't flexible and won't round out.

They are oddly shaped, which is why we are reshaping them with rubber bands. We trimmed off a little of the black part so that they don't wrap too far around the wrist. Then we closed the bands using the holes that we plan to use when we are going to wear them. We wrapped a runner band around the middle so that the bands are more oval shaped, similar to the shape of our wrists. We'll leave them like that for awhile.

I have my MBs customized and FP+'s all together on MDE. We arrive on December 8th so we should be getting our MBs in the mail very soon if I am reading correctly. Should I be worried though that I have not gotten an official invite to test ? We are staying at CSR if it makes any difference.

We check in Dec 4, exactly 28 days out! I'd say tomorrow or Friday at the latest for you.

Arriving December 12. Previously made FP+ selections......went in to alter them and instead of canceling the original selections, it added the new ones to our plans. In a little bubble, it does warn us that we have already made a selection at the same time, but it still lists all six FP's. These are made on a day we are attending MVMCP and dont even have a park ticket for the day! I just made the selections from 4-7. Anybody else have this little glitch? Should I fix it or just wait and see if we really do get 6 FP?

For those of you cutting the grey part of the bands to make them smaller, what do you cut them with?

We used scissors to cut a little of the band off and then used a pair of fingernail clippers to trim the corner off. The edge was a little rough from the scissors so I tried using the clippers on the corners and it helped round the edge a little.

Just checked with the receiving department here at work (where I had it sent): nothing today. MDE has been stuck on "Your MagicBands are being customized and will ship soon" since Monday!
