Okay, finally was able to customize my MB's tonight!! Woo hoo!

But, it took two calls to IT tonight asking for help. Here's the info I heard from the very unhelpful and apparently uninformed CM, and the CM who I told was very magical in helping me, lol! It's long, sorry!
My DD23 and I are going to Wdw to stay at BCV's on Dec 7th - 16th, celebrating her grad. this past May!
Anyway, the first CM was friendly and I explained I was able to start booking FP+ for my trip on late Wed evening. Then the 'customize bands' popped and said I had to link tickets, which we already had done. On the My Reservations Page only my ticket ressie showed in my
MDE, though. We both showed in my daughter's MDE page but couldn't do MBs there either. The customize popped up occasionally but it always wanted me to link my tickets. Omg, this call was so frustrating! So, after looking at things, said lets try check in online, which I didn't want to do because I still want to make requests at the Resort desk when we actually check in. So, she asked me to hold. Then told me the reason I couldn't do anything was that I was going Dec 7th and testing was only open for the first week of Dec so I couldn't do anything yet. I said well, actually I've made all my fp+ ressies just fine. She said Idk, but you have to wait to get the email to be able to customize! I said well that's odd because I know lots of people have booked ressies and customized MB's throughout Dec. Well those people all got the email then, I said I don't think any of them did as far as I knew, she said well it's a special invite and random who gets the bands and gets to do this. I said so if I don't get an email inviting me, I might not get to have a MB? She kept telling me to just checking my email all the time, to find out.

So I finally asked if I'd at least be able to use regular FP if there was not testing beyond that, expecting yes. She said they don't know, testing is only thru first week, keep checking your email. I said so you are telling me they may have no FP of any kind then, the FP we've used for many years may not be there either, there may not be any FP of any kind thru the holiday? And she said that's right, they don't know yet what will be past the testing!

I asked, then what about offsite guests? She said well they had to look for email! What, how could they do that? Then she said, well guests need to call to check. I couldn't believe what she was saying!!

I was very frustrated, and at least I knew that I would have to call back after I calmed down a few min! I was nice but she could tell I was getting frustrated. I did not give good ratings in the survey, except the one that referred to her being friendly(can't remember what it asks exactly).
Breathe, breathe.... Ok, so I called back at a diff #(407-939-7849). The CM asked me if I was so excited for my trip. I said yes, but getting concerned with the diff issues there have been with FP+ and MB's and not knowing was was coming in Dec. I asked if testing would go thru all of Dec or just the first week. She got excited and said oh yes, we just got an email yesterday that testing was going thru at least Jan 5th! She was so nice, really seemed excited to be helping and she just wants us to have such a magical time celebrating DD's college grad trip, not this mess that I had!

So, she went in my acct, saw that my DD23 was not showing in the linked tickets. She also checked DD23's acct also. Then she easily fixed it and told me to refresh and there we were, all linked up!

Went to customize and saw right away it asked for address, so knew I had it set!

She was just awesome and so sweet! She was going to help me with online check in but told her I didn't want to do that, and she said it's not necessary at all to get the MB's! I also asked her about purple MB's - she doesn't know but joked she'd get Mickey to help with that, lol!

Then I asked about the 3 FP+ and one park and she said that was still in effect thru this. So I asked and we will still get KTTW cards, can use them interchangeably with the bands. And, that yes we could use them to get additional FP's from the Legacy system to help when we park hopped or needed more!!
All in all, she was wonderful, got us all fixed up and our MB's are ordered! I told her that her help was very magical and I really appreciated it!

Especially since I'd had such a poor experience just before that. I also told her I really was getting excited for our trip now, and she said really, wow you made my night saying that, ty! She also told me congrats to my DD. I got so excited I forgot to order my Xmas party tickets, lol!
