Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB


Yay! Ordered our Magic Bands, and picked my Fast Passes! Now we are ready to go!!!!:jumping1:
 
thanks. I'm still waiting for parades and illumination. I heard that illumination fast pass + is only on weekend. Has anyone secured one during the week?
That would make sense, since it as offered for my Epcot day that fell on a weekend, but not on my weekday visit.
 
Is it possible to swap tickets after they have been linked to MDE? *I have several unused tickets I purchased in 2009 and I have not fully decided which ones we will use for our Dec trip. *I entered info for 2 tickets because I was told I can swap them for different ones before the trip. *Can anyone confirm this?

We check in on December 26 and I just customized our magic bands! 69 days to go! 9 days until we can do our FP+ tho.

Hmm...I haven't heard that.

I checked since we'll be going to Epcot on a Sunday and Thursday- no Illumination FP+ is available on either night for us.
 
you get to click on DONE. and it will tell you when it will ship. Did ours last night. (Dec 8th arrival) Bands are shipping on Mov 7th and we can make changes up til that day


I clicked "done" and it just took me back to the MDE home page - i'm guessing they won't ship any earlier than the end date for customizing?
 
I'm not sure why I am not seeing it, but I am 48 days out and don't see an option to customize my band. I see that I can now make FP+ selections, but where is the band?

You may have to do check in or modify your reservation (without actually doing anything) to get that option. Although not everyone has to, many in December, myself included, had to do online check in and immediately after that the Magic Bands on the right changes to "Personalize MagciBands". Then you can go in any personalize them.
 
I have a question. I am the only family member that has a MDE account. I made all the reservations, (2 rooms) for DD and her family and DH and I. Yesterday, I was able to make all our FP+ selections. I didn't see MB's so I did online check in for my room, then I saw that I could customize our MB's (just DH and mine). When I tried to do online check in for my DD, it says that an error was encountered. So now they are not showing MB's for the rest of the family. I have both room reservations, hopper passes and dining reservations all linked to my account. Does anyone know why the MB's are not showing up for the other room (daughter, son in law, grandaughter 4 and grandson 2).


I also had this problem. I went to mydisneyreservation.com website for my other room (DM and DD). Left it a minute then checked My Disney Experience again, Personalize MB and Voilà.....

That is a great tip. I've seen several people with this problem and I'm glad that you found a solution to it. :)

Like others said, I had to modify check in before I could personalize them.
