Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

I logged on and did online checkin, customized magic bands and did FP+. I will say I think I will love the FP+ especially once it's all rolled out and working. I just have a question....

On the MDE area, I have our annual passes there. But then we have a hotel only reservation that I checked in for...so since I was able to customize, the annual passes *should* be all linked up to the hotel reservation and FPs right?

Do not use your Disney hotel confirmation number in MDE under your "My Reservation" tab. Instead, open up the tab "Personalize MagicBands." You will then see a 12 digit number. Use that number. It worked for me, but as others have said nothing is available yet. Will keep checking.

But there are no FPs for my days. What I dont know now is if it is all gone or if its not opened yet...

not released yet... Hold tight they will be released along with parades etc.

I tried playing around in MDE and found the options on the side where I could select modify check in. I had to go through the whole online check in process on MDE for both WL and CR even though I did it on mydisneyreservation.com and then personalize magic bands appeared on the side and I got to do it for both resorts. We are not interested in FP except for the parades and maybe BOG lunch if offered so I'll keep checking back. I apologize if this has been asked before but when do the bands get sent?

Just FYI for people I went on earlier today and did my fastpass+ picks and changed the colors of my magic bands. I went on just a few mins ago to change some of the fastpass picks I made and there have been some things added to all the parks even from earlier today like earlier they didn't have Enchanted Tales and now they do and other such things at each park. Go check it out. Still no parades or fireworks yet but I guess they are still working on it.

I hate saying it but I wouldn't put too much stock into anything CMs are saying on the phones. Sounds like they've been given scripted answers.

It appears for most that if you do online check in or modify your check in the magic band option pops up. They seemed to have linked this together for December.

FP+ for BOG and parades and shows etc. probably won't be available till later. I would just keep checking.

Not until you get the tickets. I ordered mine this morning. I have a confirmation number for the purchase but not for each separate ticket. I will need to scan the tickets with the app when they come or enter the numbers manually into MDE when I have the physical tickets in front of me. Once I have done that, I can make fastpass+ selections.

Just did online checkin for our Dec. 5th arrival and can now personalize Magic Bands and do FP+. FP+ was available before online checkin but after both were available. Hold on everybody here we go

If you call resort reservations to buy your tickets, instead of doing it online, the cast member will link them to your MDE account right away. You don't have to do anything. My tickets were linked before I got off the phone. And you don't have to buy a package to do it. Just purchase the tickets. It was foolproof that way.

I just was able to make my FAstpass+ selections for Dec. 4-9!!! So excited!! Now if only I could figure out how to order/customize MagicBands....

Thank you AmyB and pigletto. I was afraid that was the case . I really want to save the $200 using the old tickets will save us so I guess I will have to wait. Now to decide if I make the fastpass+ for the kids or just wait. Kinda stinks!

It doesn't hurt to make them. Once you upgrade your tickets you can use the button that adds yours to theirs. If they aren't available you can just adjust theirs at that time

I was one of the ones that had this FP+ problem today... I am happy to report, I just went in to my MDE (for the umpteenth time today ) and all of the changes I wanted are now showing! For a while MDE was showing 1 FP+ at AK and 2 FP+ at MK, on the same day!... some with just DH and some with just myself. It was VERY mixed up. But, it's all good now! Hope everyone else is finding this to be so as well!!

Yes. I was one of the ones having trouble also. I am happy to report that mine are all good now too! Yay!

Scheduled FP+ and magic Bands for Dec 6 -8 so excited but wishing it was a longer trip.... That was very easy hope it stays that way in the future.

Mine are all screwy too- and haven't seem to gotten straightened out on the app. Hopefully it's right on my laptop, or it sorts itself out soon! It's not until you go in to change a time that you actually get the real quantities and times!

We just ordered APs for our December trip (4-8). When they arrive in the mail (By 10/31) and I add them to our DME account, then the MB and FP+ windows should start popping up?

Ugh...If I had known that, I may have paid the extra shipping to get them here sooner!

Hopefully, yes. Some people have reported having trouble linking APs but some have linked them just fine.

Unfortunately they would not link mine like that, just purchased them via phone and he said that I had to link them upon receipt, they can't do it. Oh well, it was worth a shot.

I had been holding off to possibly buy from UT but we were just too afraid to do it as we really want FP+ as it will be busy..hopefully the Disney tickets will work okay. Now if only I can wait 7-15 days for them to arrive!

Just so I'm clear, we bought our tickets as part of a package, so I assume they're already linked since I'm able to book FP+, yes? (There are so many steps and I wanna make sure everything is just right lol)
