Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

I got to do lunch at BOG in September on a fast pass. I would like to do again in December but this is what I'm getting on the website. Has anyone been able to eat their more than once on a fast pass

Wow, that wasn't too bad, but I imagine for a first time visitor it would be a bit difficult.

I had to try several times to get the times I wanted for my selections. (We are at MK for the Christmas party, and only could use times between 4PM and 7PM.)

I am trying to go to this BOG lunch FP site and it doesnt take my confirmation number as well, because it has letters on it...

Can anyone help, pppplease?

I've heard that if you use the number on the Magical Express papers, that it would work???? Those are all numbers.

I can't elaborate any more since we aren't using Magical Express so I don't know what it looks like.

I arrive on the 3rd and I was able to customize my bands today!! My daughter did her family's too. My son does not have an account so I was hoping to do his too, but can't. Does anyone have the IT number I can call.

I'm having the worst luck with this!

Called IT, they couldn't link the reservation either so they told me they would try to fix it as soon as possible. After that, I contacted RCI (who I made reservations through for BWV) and added my dad to our reservation so I could do MB and FP+ for him as well. I go back to MDE and our reservation at BWV was actually linked :debwalk: I checked in online and now it's showing to customize MB so I did that as well.

But NOW when I go to choose FP+, it shows that my dad is ineligible for My Magic+ - yet his ticket is linked, he's on the reservation, and he has a MB customized

I am so frustrated. Made all of our FP+ reservations for our first day, and then the system went crazy. It keeps splitting up me and my DH (our son is under 3 and doesn't have a ticket) and it won't cancel, copy or change any existing FP+ reservations. I don't know this happened, but we now have two full days of random one-person only reservations for attractions at the wrong times, that won't delete or be replaced with anything. I am scared to try to do any other days on our trip because of this, and scared to call IT because of the long waits and seemingly inability to do anything. This has taken up my entire morning.

Does anyone here have any tips? I can outline how it started going crazy if that helps.
1. I selected our three choices for our second day, and then confirmed.
2. I went in afterwards to modify the times.
3. I selected new times and hit submit.
4. On the reservation list page it showed only one reservation for either me or my husband. At no time did I remove either of us or select only one of us to make changes for during the modification process.
5. A million extra attempts to modify, cancel, copy or replace the reservations succeeds in nothing.

59 days out and this morning I was able to make Fastpass +. I had to modify my check in and then I also got personalize magicbands. Only problem is that my fastpass plus were showing up in the itinerary with the wrong people or wrong number of people. I went back in and modified all the fastpasses. Now the correct ones and some of the incorrect ones are showing. I think it will correct itself tho because when I try to modify the incorrect ones I get a blank page. Fingers crossed! Very limited choices, I guess we need to keep checking for new attractions to be added as we get closer!

This seems to be a glitch with MDE. On my itinerary page all my FP's are messed up but if I try to modify any of my FP's (on my computer or phone) they all have the correct times. If you go into the "select or replace" option in the modify screen under each persons name it says "already has fastpass+ selections" with a circle next to it. Hover over that circle and it'll show that persons selections for that day.

I'm going to give it a few days and see if my itinerary view corrects itself before calling as I'm sure IT is overwhelmed today but as far as I can tell all my FP+ are correct even though the itinerary screen is wrong.

Has anyone been able to make FastPass+ times for the Christmas party nights?

FP+ isn't available during the parties, the FP+ times end at 7pm party nights.

Today I was able to do fastpass+ but not magic bands until after I did online checking. WL Dec 11 and CBR Dec 12-19 (split stay due to dates of dining plan). I like getting two sets of bands as we got to choose two different colors; DW wanted both pink and red. She really wanted purple, but that's not an option.


Looking closely, it seems even though my address was on the reservation, it didn't show up on the check-in. Once I entered my address in the online check in, the option to customize/personalize magic bands appeared. Seems there's two systems and the address didn't get transferred over from the reservations to the customize magic bands system. I'm betting those who didn't have to do online check in somehow had their address in the system used for magic bands perhaps because of a call or some other reason. With these new systems and one not talking to another it's a wonder this doesn't happen more. I booked the Magic Your Way package through a travel agent specializing in Disney vacations if that makes any difference.

Arriving Dec 10-14 hotel only and just personalized my magicbands on MDE.
No issues at all. Must have just opened Dec. today. I have up until Nov. 9 to make any modifications before they ship to my home.

Yay, I was able to customize magic bands and do our first day of fastpass+ selections.

Question, DH and I have unused 1 day tickets that we are planning on upgrading to 5 day passes on our first day. I bought our daughters 5 day passes from UT and have successfully linked all tickets. Am I reading right that I will not be able to make fastpass+ reservations for my dh and I past our first day? But I can for the kids? Should I make theirs for the other days and try to get those for us too after we arrive? Wait and do it all then? Is there any way to do our fastpass+ now too, without buying new tickets of course .

This has been my exact issue and no, you can't add days ahead of time or make more days of fastpass+ selections than you have in tickets. Due to this I did end up buying all new tickets. I hated to do it, but we go often enough that I know we'll use them on another trip when all the bugs are worked out.

I did it on the website, then went through my online check in again to verify it. Then i opened my IPad to the MDE application and was playing around and clicked on the Magic Bands. It allowed me to customize them, even though i didn't get that option on the website. So it looks like we are all set!

How do you modify the check-in? I've tried to do online check-in to try to be able to customize MBs. I get to the end and it says to give room and amenity requests. Are there no options for amenity requests? I selected ground floor and corner room. It acknowledges those requests but there aren't any amenity requests listed.
I feel lost.

Thank you AmyB and pigletto. I was afraid that was the case . I really want to save the $200 using the old tickets will save us so I guess I will have to wait. Now to decide if I make the fastpass+ for the kids or just wait. Kinda stinks!

Trying to decide if I should buy from them for our Jan. Trip. It would save us about $55. but I heard you can't link them to MDE.

I was one of the ones that had this FP+ problem today... I am happy to report, I just went in to my MDE (for the umpteenth time today ) and all of the changes I wanted are now showing!

For a while MDE was showing 1 FP+ at AK and 2 FP+ at MK, on the same day!... some with just DH and some with just myself. It was VERY mixed up. But, it's all good now!

Just got finished with all my selections and for the most part, I am super happy with them! I also finished making ADRs (for Dec 8-13, yes I know I'm late to the party!) and got a CLP package for a restaurant I wanted to try and for a time that worked well with my FP+ times. Yay! I also got FP+ times for DHS that work with my dinner ADR there and my desire to see the Osborne Lights.

Hooray!! All Magic Bands have been customized for December!! We can't do FP+ yest because we have the military salute tickets, so we will have to wait until we trade our vouchers in. Hopefully the kids can get some rides once tickets are linked.

I think you are safe leaving your home address as is, the system will flag and know to have your bands waiting at resort.
