Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

I reached day 60 today!! I am still not able to do magic bands but I am able to begin my fast pass plus selections!!! We have 5 adults so this is going to be tricky to decide on rides but who cares, I'm excited to try something new.

Modify your check in and I bet the MB option magically appears. You don't really need to modify anything just go through the process so it saves again.

We're checking on Dec 1st at Beach Club (DH,myself and DD). I have my parents staying at the villas with rented points - does anyone know if they can do the magic bands or can we do it for them if they are on our family and friends list? Or can they not participate?

We are leaning towards not doing fastpass+ if they can't do it too.

It says I can personalize my MB but when I confirm shipping address, I get an error that says to try again later. I'm sure it's because I'm Canadian but they also note that if your address is outside of U.S. we pick them up at the resort. Any other Canadian's have this issue?

The same thing happened to this Canadian too
I modified the shipping address to My resort, under the customize magic bands option. Once I did that I was able to choose my colours!!! Hopefully that works for you too!

I think if you're out of the country it automatically goes to your resort and you get them when you check in. At least that's what others have been saying.

But I agree that might be why it's giving an error message.

Traveling Dec 7-13. Was able to make FP+ selections today, but no MBs. Also, no Fireworks/MSEP experiences. There was an Illuminations viewing available one night.

Help -- did online check in and was able to personalize my MagicBands. However, my husband's name is showing up next to my icon in My Disney Experience, and mine is showing up next to his. It's my My Disney Experience account, but his is the lead name on the reservation. Not sure if I should leave it the way it is, or change it so that our names match our icons?

Online check in has nothing to do with MBs.

I was just able to customize my magic band for our December 14th arrival. We were 59 days out from our trip as of yesterday and I was having a lot of trouble yesterday doing online check in on the MDE site. After I would go through the entire process it would give me a screen with a picture of Goofy and said "Oops.... Something went wrong. Please try again later." I tried clicking on Manage Magic Bands and it was still showing the generic what a magic band page is and link them to your account page. I also tried the Disney reservation site and was able to do online check-in and get a confirmation, but still not able to configure the bands.

I just tried to do online Check in on the MDE site again this morning and got a confirmation page. Went back to the main MDE page and now the Magic Band link says "Personalize" and Viola I'm able to customize our bands.

I'm really glad I was able to configure them and it does look like it's somehow tied to online check in.

Update: arriving dec 1st, I am able to pick FP+ only until dec 5th. Dec 6th and 7th are not yet selectable for me...

And no MBs...

I was able to get my fast pass + this AM but not magic bands. I called spoke to very nice cast member and she said I will be able to order bands soon. It will be in the next few weeks. My dates are December 6-13 at AOA. I pretty much got what I wanted for FPs. Very happy

Online checkin never had anything to do with this prior, but if you modify your online checkin they will pop up.

I'm 50 days out and I modified my check in and I GOT TO PERSONALIZED MY MB AND I GET TO MAKE FP SELECTIONS.....

So excited once this is done...I get to take a vacation from planning my vacation to go on my vacation......

Got to pick FP+ for our trip Dec 8-13. Didn't see an option for parades or fireworks. Picked times right now and then will move them around when I have more time. (I'm at work). Still didn't get to do anything with MB's. I hope that means they will open soon too.

I'm just excited to do the FP+
