Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

At that point she said that if I hadn't received the invite, my being able to customize was a mistake on the MDE site and that POR (where we'll be staying) is no longer in the testing phase, so no MB's for me when I check in 11/30.

I didn't get too worried as I know so many people are hearing different things from CM's. I'll just hope for the best!

Ugh, I know! I'm just going to sit back and either:
1) Wait for an invite via e-mail
2) Wait until 10/31 which is my last day to customize and then I'll be able to see if they will actually ship my MB's
3)Try again in about a week to obtain FP on MDE
4)Wait until check in and get the MB's

You will definitely get them. There is no way that they would do a complete WDW-resort roll out and then just stop everything.

There have been several reports that Disney is planning a full roll out for 12/1.

I wanted to post some info here as well as the November thread because it may help some others avoid anxiety later on.

We have a room only reservation for ASMO on Nov 29 for one night only as we will be moving to a Windsor Hills townhouse the next day. At my 60 day mark for our Disney resort check in I was given the option to make FP+ reservations for my check in & check out day, but nothing past that.

Today is 60 days out from our first park day while we are offsite and I am able to make FP+ reservations for that day. The remaining days are still greyed out, but I am hopeful that they will open up one by one as I reach the 60 day mark for that day.

When the 60 day mark comes (in 5 days) do we need to have paper tickets in order to customize bands and set up fast pass+? We haven't ordered our tickets yet so I am starting to worry that I won't be able to set things up.

My brother called about this question last week. They told him that he would be able to customize bands but would not be able to pick FP without tickets. His plan is when he is able to customize he will then call and get tickets. Hope it helps.

PP is correct. Without valid admission to the parks, you can't reserve FP+. But you may not be able to do anything at 60 days out. They haven't been doing it 60 days out yet. They've been "releasing" one month at a time.

Who knows though, that could change at any time.

Keep your eye on MDE and you might notice a "Personalize Magic Bands" option soon.

You do not need paper tickets, but you do need tickets. You can order them through Disney and choose the Will Call option. You will get a confirmation number that you can then link to your MDE account. Once you assign each pass to someone on your account's profile you will be able to make FP+ selections for them.

That said, you may find that you are not given access to MBs and FP+s right at the 60 day mark. For the past couple of months they have been doing things a bit differently. Just about a week ago they opened the system to those with check ins in November, even though many of us were well within our 60 day window. If you don't get access right at 60 days just keep checking. This forum is a good one to monitor as someone will surely post as soon as things open up for December.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I am able to make FP+ reservations past my check out date, I just have to wait until each day hits 60 days out to do so. I can make reservations 1 day at a time similar to making ADRs at 180 days when staying offsite.

Currently, everyone gets a KTTW card even if you have a Magic Band. That is how people are able to use both systems, so you don't have to choose between them. What we don't know is for how much longer they will continue to give everyone KTTW cards.

i had heard that people were still able to use both now but I also heard that the testing of the fast pass + magic bands ends October 31. When they go live with this system for everyone, I was told that you would no longer be able to "double dip". I hope that is not true.
