Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

I have a question - we have a split stay (1 night at AoA, 7 nights at BWV). We booked AoA through Disney and BWV through RCI (timeshare exchange company).

I was able to finally link my AoA reservation to MDE but am still unable to link BWV despite having the actual Disney confirmation number. Since we will be at AoA first and i'll be able to personalize the MBs online, will my MB work throughout our entire stay or do I need to get another set for our stay at BWV?

This whole thing is very confusing! I hope that made sense...
 
We are checking into VWL on Dec. 1. We purchased our tickets by calling Disney directly and they are linked to our MDE account. I still don't have the option to customize MagicBands yet, however, today when I logged in FastPass+ selections came up after clicking on that section, then immediately greyed out and a message came up saying at least one member of my party must be within the 60-day window to begin booking times. I've been checking for days now and that's the first time I've seen that, so it gives me hope that it will open up soon for all of us first-weekers to begin making reservations!

Unfortunately, don't get too excited about that. I've seen it many times in the last 2 or 3 months and am still waiting like you.
 
So has anyone checking in on the 1st able to get there magic bands/ fast pass + today?
 
My MDE says I can check in tomorrow for Dec. 1 reservation. When I click on the actual day, it says I can pick FP+ on Oct 20th.
 

Still 61 days out. May have to wait til tomorrow. I've had problems with MDE so I am a little hesitant to go with the bands and fast pass +.
 
Where are you seeing that. We are Dec. 1 as well.


Well, the FP+ is gone! I pasted the info on this thread, post 40. Can't find it now.

For checking in, I went to my reservations, and clicked on view details, and it says when I can check in.

I can check-in online in 8 and 10 days (split stay) :cool1:

the first time each login and click the fastpass plus line you go to https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/fastpass-plus/ it will show you this week and 'some random week' which usually appears to be oct 20.

then an error window pops up and says sorry, you must be in at least one guests fastpass selection window (and the 'random' cotober 20 week disappears....)

subsequent visits until you log out go right to a page that tells you to link your stuff.

If you use the link I posted then it will always go to the funky calendar page that pops up the error message.

Is that what you saw?

What I'm trying to figure out is a way to go around that page maybe from a calendar someplace and try to make a FP+ on a date during someone's reservation. maybe that would work...
 
We check in Dec. 25th!!

hoping for MB/FP+

I'm going to be obsessed and will be checking here and on MDE everyday now!! :rotfl2::scared::coffee:
 
We will be there Dec. 1-7. We have a package for Oct. 20-26 as well. Three family members are going on both trips, plus 3 others in Oct. and 2 others in Dec. I don't have access yet to customize magic bands for the Dec. trip (already have them for Oct.). For fastpass+, I can see the first week of December available, but when I go to select party members, only the people going in October can be chosen. The 3 people who are going in October only say "FastPass+ limit reached" under their names. The 2 people who are going in December only say "not eligible for MyMagic+". I suppose I could do FP+ for those of us who are going on both trips, but I think I'll wait and see if the others become eligible tomorrow. I don't want to mess anything up! I'm a little nervous the Dec. stuff will open while I'm in WDW in Oct...I was planning on enjoying that trip, not continually checking whether or not I can make FP+ for December!
 
When I click on the link for FP plus in the post a few before mine it will pop up with this week (oct) and with the week in Dec that I'm going to be there. We check in on the 8th but I don't have a park day scheduled until the 9th. It shows each day from monday the 9th-friday the 13th. It quickly changes to the gray screen and says that we are not eligible at this time.

It gives me hope that it will be soon since i see the Dec dates. I'm at 68 days right now. I will do online check in at 60 days. We are staying at Pop.
 
Arriving december 1st at AKL, so 61 days to go and no MBs to customize yet...

I am checking on both the app and the website
 
Hi, are checking in on 12/2. I have two 6-day hopper passes from Undercover Tourist (the tyveck ones) and am ready to add them to my account on MDE. Can someone confirm whether I input a "zero" or a "letter o" for those digits that look like both?

if they have a barcode- the best thing to do seems to be use the app on your smartphone to scan them in. That seems to work instantly without any reported issues that I'm seen posted. Using the website seems to not be the most consistent.

How does MDE know what days we'll be visiting a certain park? Unless they go by the itinerary you can create on the app- then I need to make one!
 
I'm not sure. I did set up what days we are going to what parks along with my dining reservations. I guess that is how.

I assume FOR NOW- by the dates of your hotel reservations. BUT at some point they have to open it wide open and allow any date for Annual Passes and then anyone else with a MB.

I keep checking the link ~5 times a day in the hopes i find when they open it up- lol

edit- oops- thought the question was how do they know what days you will be onsite....
