Bama Ed... that's what I used to say. Then my son was stationed in S Korea for 15 months and that was the only way we could communicate and I could share photos of things going on back home. We still communicate that way... even now he is back in the states. FB has it's moments... although few.

Race team page is in my sig and I have a personal page where it's mostly race friends and the few family members I want to interact with.

For the >40 crowd, it's a fun wasy way to stay connected.

We use it a lot with my brother and 2 nephews in Iraq and Afghanistan. I also saw one Friends of Disney's Fort Wilderness. I held out for a long time, but can be useful and has reconnected me with old friends.
