Anyone here love to do laundry?

My DH loves to do laundry. He suggests doing a load frequently. I like it better when I have someone to do it with.

My DH loves doing laundry too. It's better when they know how to do it well. :teeth:

I don't mind doing laundry. I don't buy things that require ironing and I hate hand washing items though.

I love to do laundry. I have gotten a few colored things mixed up over the years though lol Let's say I still have a few of those things lying around the house.

I don't actually mind doing laundry, I just am not very good at it. To put the situation into perspective, I got a free iron for opening a checking account about 15 years ago. I know where it is. It is unopened on the shelf in the cupboard. I just haven't felt any compulsion to open it. I wonder how long irons will keep. Maybe, we will keep it long enough to donate to the Smithsonian. I usually put a load in the washer, then, once it's done, load it into the dryer. I put the second load into the washer, and, then, I forget to finish the laundry. This weekend, I forgot to wash the sheets and towels. Oh well, I'll probably do the towels after work today.

I hate folding laundry, but don´t really have other problems with it.

I like clean clothes but don't like doing laundry LOL....I can find much better things to use my time for than doing laundry...

I love laundry. I also love dryer sheets. lol I'll use three or four for every load that goes into teh dryer.

I don't love laundry, it just never ends. What I do like about it though, is if you throw a load of laundry in...dis a bit, tivo a bit, you still feel like you're doing something!

Ironing rarely occurs here! I went to WDW with my sister and she IRONED HER T-shirts :faint:

Absolutely not! Laundry is my least favorite household chore.

I start the laundry while muttering under my breath but I end the laundry with a feeling of satisfaction. I do love the clean smell of freshly laundered clothes.

I don't mind to it at all, however I never let it pile up! :thumbsup2

If the laundry were just washing and drying I'd be fine. I think I could even get behind the ironing if I had a nice laundry room to permanently set up the board. BUT I hate the putting away. We just have too many clothes and it is all just FORCING the clean clothes in.

In all honesty I do...I try hard as i can to do laundry ALONE...I have to take it to the laundry mat, but I have time after class to do it before the girls get out of school, so I try to do it then. I usually go with a girlfriend of mine, we throw it in the washer, run and tan, then come back throw it in the dryer- head across the st for DnD, and then chat while we fold. Sanity time!

The only time its a PITA is when i take DBF's laundry with me, ever find a wood shaving in your thong???? :confused3

Now that's what I call laundry! I can handle that!

it!!! The only god part about laundry is that warm nice smell that comes from the dryer when I use those Downy sheets that smell like lavendar and vanilla.

Housework is housework - an endless, thankless but OH so necessary job. But, I'm a housewife (is that term still used) and it is my job. And like my mother used to say...if there's a job worth doing, then it's worth doing right! When I compare laundry to other tasks like washing windows, scrubbing tubs/toilets, the laundry room wins hands down! I'm fussy about how my laundry is done - and have specific ways to do things, so I never delegate this task to someone else. I like crisp neat looking clothes and iron most things. My ironing board is set up all the time and I usually iron when I can watch a favorite tv program.
