Anyone here go over Easter? Which resort do you stay at?

We are going the Wednesday before easter till the following Wednesday. I am fully aware of the insane crowds.
With that said where would you advise staying family of 11 will get 2 rooms. I have thought about a grand villa but the points ouch....I'm
thinking with the crowds we will spend a great deal of time at the resort.

Easter at the Grand is pretty sweet...we love it then (and always). Those Grand Villas are spectacular as well (but yes, pricey). Still we love them.

I personally don't like the crazy crowds in the GF. Great to visit but the lobby is intense.
We stayed at Beach Club 2 Easters ago and love the location. Also has cute egg displays.

I don't see a specific date other than Christmas (for decorations) every changing where someone would prefer to stay.

What parks are you going to? Are you doing Fireworks on non late night/party nights where busses are issue after? Where do you like dinner typically?

We were at VGC Easter week but left on Thursday so weren’t actually there on Easter. Crowds were awesome on the weekend since it was a season ticket blackout but the weekdays were insane.

Since you said there would probably be a lot of resort time, my vote would be SSR or BCV. SSR because it's close to DS and you can walk or boat over there. BCV because SAB. BCV also gives you all the action around the boardwalk to enjoy. Also, you can walk over to Fantasia mini golf.

We stayed at WL during Easter weekend 2019. We had a fun time, and the crowds were surprisingly manageable since Easter was late that year. The resort had character greets on Easter morning. MK had a little Easter cavalcade before the Festival of Fantasy and character greet with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. EPCOT had an Easter egg hunt. AK had a greeting with Thumper and Miss Bunny.

So what one doesn't do anything compared to that those do? Never heard of one not doing anything while others do.

Good to know though if someone actually has a list of it.
