I just got my stuff today and it is pretty cute. I need and excuse to have all of my inlaws over so I can use this for a fun reason. My son had the most fun with the confetti that came in the box! It is all over my living room! I can provide more details about this if anyone is interested to know. I thought this was going to be a partlylight/tuperware type thing, but all disney asked of me is to have people fill out for the planning video, which I always tell people to do anyway. I guess we will see if this evolves into anything in the future. So far it just seems like some advertising for wdw with a fun twist if you want to do it.

I got mine today. I do daycare so thought we would have a Disney party during spring break. They all know I am crazy for Disney, so this will be lots of fun, to give them some Disney stuff of their own.:yay:

I haven't gotten mine yet :(

Did it come in the regular USPS mail or via FedEx or UPS?

Pictures, please!

ok I will try to post when dh gets home.
I got photo album for me.
Disney napkins
10 gift "totes" with some goodies in them
10 plastic goodie bags
A bag of furtune cookies
planning dvd
10 lithograph type sketches in envelopes
a pack of balloons
a set of laminated disney trivea questions on a ring
disney bingo set
some craft stuff for kids
some magnetic games
magnetic hanna montana stuff
disney maps
business cards with info if you want to have your own party
mickey straws
some paper mickey ears
I have to open all of it, but it looks cute, my family will have fun laughing at me but I will have fun watching all the kids BEG to go to WDW!

I have to figure out how to add The Dis in, perhaps I will make little cards with the dis info on it to put in the adult goodie bags. I already have 2 planning dvd so I am going to give this one away as a prize. I am such a geek I know! I was going to wear my favirote wdw shirt but perhaps my podcast tee, Oh I could even do a little GKTW donation as well. Do they have any brocures that I could put out? Excuse my flight of ideas here.

Ok... How do you become a participant of the Mickey Moms Club!? Is there a particular time or place to sign up for this? What is the MMC all about?

I had my box waiting on the porch when we got back from WDW on Tuesday, great way to end a trip! I'll be having a "Just Because" party and this will give me an excuse to since they want us to have these parties and eventually give them feedback. I do see it as a marketing tool by WDW and think that they are testing the waters about having people host these types of things. I have no problem pimping out WDW and usually do it regardless so having the goodies to give people is just a plus. I'm not a travel agent so I can't book vacations for people so I won't be really selling anything but if I can point someone in the right direction that is fine. Now I just need to figure out which weekend.

The MMC held a contest, had to answer three essay questions, two years ago for people to try to be selected for the first Official Mickey Moms Club. The lucky winners got an all expense paid trip to WDW, goodies and then became the "Moms" that people could ask questions about WDW. Last year they held the contest again and again picked about a dozen lucky people to man the MMC. Recently they held another essay question for 1,000 lucky winners to be chosen to host a "In-Home Disney Celebration Party". They sent out boxes with the items shown in the OP's pictures. The contest is over but you can still register to the MMC by going to Mickey Moms Club and then you'll get email notices the next time they have a contest.

Last year I also received a thank you kit for applying that had a pin, mouse pad some stickers a mouse pad if I remember corectly, nice little touch for all of us rejects who did not make it. They also included a nice "thank you" form letter. The wdw web site has a Mom's pannel section where the winners answer questions. Quite a few of the winners who are on the pannel are from The Dis.
