Anyone here a Thirty-One Consultant

I have only recently found out about this company and I was wondering if we have any Thirty-One consultants here on the DIS. If so, what do you think about the company?

I am not, but my DD's 1st grade teacher is one and she really seems to love the company. She gets a lot of orders at school of course. I have seen the items and they are very good quality, but a little on the pricey side for me.

I signed on recently and was wondering if we had any other DIS people doing this. The products that I have seen so far are nice.

Google is your friend!! I'm just kidding. I did google it though because I was curious. Looks like personalized bags and such. They look to be very well made. We've got a lady here who makes similar bags - extremely sturdy and good quality - and the prices look comparable to hers.

Thirty-One is a home party company that was started in 2002.
To quote the company:
"We offer a beautiful selection of gifts and accessories that are stylish, useful and affordable. From well-designed monogrammed handbags and elegant scented candles to personalized stationery, kitchen accessories and more, you’ll always find something unique and different for your family, friends and yourself! "

I guess it's still new enough that a lot of people have not heard of it. I was hoping to find some other consultants here to get their thoughts/opinions as well.

I've been happy with it so far. One of the things that I like about it is that unlike Pampered Chef there are not so many consultants right now that would make it difficult to get parties.

They do have an incentive program that allows you to earn a trip to Walt Disney World (or a laptop computer or a cruise) which is nice.

What other home party companies are some of you consultants for? I'd love to hear more.

One of our homeschool moms here locally had some bags shown on her blog that she purchased...really nice and big! I like their personalized birthday plates, but don't know anyone that sells the stuff and don't want to enter my name on their website and have reps start calling me to schedule parties...etc. I did check eBay and found a LOT of personalized/embroidered bags....maybe I'll just go that way and find a birthday plate as well

I had a party and really loved the stuff but then I found out it is a Christian based company and while I don't have a problem with that, I do with the fact that it wasn't disclosed upfront and is an integral part of the company line.
I am Jewish and some of the catlogs had bible verses ect.

HI we are not limited. . .there are just not many in PA. I just moved from the Pittsburgh area two weeks ago and there were only 2 of us.

I clicked on this thread because I was just at a party myself tonight! The products were cute, didn't like some of the patterns though. The consultant is in NE Pa for the person that was looking, you are welcome to pm me. She is also a marketer for a network company I belong to which is also very new. We sell health and wellness products, weight loss line, children's healthy snack line. I don't think we can post company stuff on here though. At the 31 party I ordered a wristlet and small cosmetic bag for now. I'm not big on having stuff monogrammed or embroidered. Good luck with your business!

I was turned off when I ordered a set of cards (birthday, anniversary, etc) and found that a few of them were religious in nature. I would not have spent $30 for cards if I knew there were some that I would never use. I am not religious, and while I don't mind ordering from a Christian-based company, I would have preferred not to have those cards included with the set.

I am a demonstrator for Gold Canyon Candles. I have been doing that for about 5 years. I love my candles!

I have seen 31 and would like to get a backpack for my daughter, just don't want to pay that much for it. I probably will, though, because they are super cute.

I have no info on this company but I will NOT purchase anything that requires me to go to a party or where someone shows me a brochure they got at a party. I usually find that the items are overpriced and I don't want to feel obligated to help out the hostess. Ages ago though I did buy Discovery Toys, but through a catalog.---Kathy
