Anyone heard of way.com?

Prices definitely up. I bought mine about a week or so ago. 2 adult and one child 3 day hoppers with magic morning. Cost me $661 they now price out at $700. Glad I took the plunge when I did. I feel pretty positive that these tickets are good.

Well, if they're a new company, the low prices certainly did what they were intended to do - get people talking about them! ;)

We have our first visit planned for early June. If we are staying at a Disney Hotel do we need the Magic Morning option?

So it looks to me like they have two different types of tickets. One type, that say "with Magic Morning" in the title, are regular tickets that are discounted about 5%. The other type, that don't say "with Magic Morning" in the title, are about 10-15% off, but they say in the description that they are more restricted: Not only no Magic Morning, but no credit toward upgrades, and limited dates.

I'm staying on property, so I don't need Magic Morning, and I'd love to save the money as much as anyone. But I'd like to confirm that these aren't some kind of gray-area tickets, like supposed to be used in relation to a convention or something, that I am not supposed to get.

Can people who are successful using these tickets please confirm whether you got the with or without MM type?

Thanks!

Ok. Wdw vet here...bought tix today. Put res date in at time of purchase. We will be onsite, 3day ph starting may 3. I did not purchase the hopper with magic morning since we are on site. I will report back how that goes :)

Nope, hotel guests get early entry included :) Enjoy your trip!

Yeah, I would be concerned with the ones that are only valid on specific dates that they list, with no Magic Morning. They do sound like convention tickets. Don't know if you contacted them, if they would tell you if that was the case or not.

My mom and I both spoke with disneyland today and they said they are not from Disney and their ticket investigation services discouraged buying them. Did anyone really truly speak to Disneyland itself?

Did anyone really truly speak to Disneyland itself?

I previously posted that I called last week and talked to a cast member at the Disney ticketing number who told me she had not heard of Way.com so according to her they weren't an authorized seller.

I e-mailed Disney directly and asked specifically about Way.com and mentioned how their customer service (as posted here) said Way.com was a newer authorized 3rd party seller. However I got more of a general reply and the response didn't mention Way.com specifically. In fact it just discouraged buying tickets from anyone but Disneyland.com. So it was more a "blanket" response they gave me, but to quote the reply I received it said:

"We do not advise purchasing tickets on other websites outside of our Disneyland.com as we are unable to guarantee validity of those tickets."

I had hoped for a more specific response then a general statement but no luck.

Sounds like the way hotels discourage you from booking through travel agents, as it cuts into their profits.

I ordered 3 5-day PH yesterday through way.com and didn't have any problems. I didn't add my travel date to the order, but I received an email asking for it (first day of use). However when I received the e-tickets they only say that they must be used by the end of the year (no specific dates on them). The e-tickets look legit and have a picture of Sulley on them. I ordered 2 tickets at first, thinking I could use the "Way Bucks" on the third, but currently Way Bucks can only be used towards dining offers.

So I bought tickets yesterday thru way.com and have yet to receive any tickets
or email. How long did it take for a completed order?

During business hours I think I got mine within an hour or two.

Call their customer service number and/or check your junk mail folder. This happened to me as well. He resent the e-mail, but asked me to check my junk mail. That's where it was. I then added them to my contacts so that yahoo wouldn't send their messages to junk anymore.

That's what happened to me also. 5 more get ups until Mickeys house.

Just got an email that processing is taking a little longer because they got bombarded with spring break orders. They said they expected an uptick but nothing like what they are seeing.

Just wanted to update those waiting for tickets, myself included :)

Yes I got an email with the same message so that made me feel a little better. Has the fee of $35.85 been attached to the total or are convenience fees waved?

I just compared their price to AAA and way.com is $1.00 more. I would much rather pay for a AAA membership and have my park hoppers in hand then risk it through a unknown website. Also I was able to save $280.00 of my package at PPH through AAA. I have used Costco in the past but you can't stay at a DL resort longer then 4 days through costco

Way.com would save me $82 on (2) 3-day hoppers whereas AAA would save me $25....that's a $57 difference or a meal at Disneyland.
