Anyone heard of Ketchup Powder?

I was watching a Canadian show and the girls on there were going to make popcorn and put lots of ketchup powder on it. I've never heard of it. But I bet I would love it. I love ketchup chips.

Anyone in the US ever seen it?

No, but for awhile we had ketchup that was purple and green.

Anyone in Canada willing to get some for me and send it? I'd pay you and even give you extra to cover your trouble. It's $14.50 on the website for 3 little containers plus lord only knows how much for S&H! (it says someone will contact me shortly to discuss S&H, since I'm in the US).

I'd be glad to. If you still need this, Monday I do my groceries. I see it at the movies, but have never looked on the shelves at the stores. Surely it must be there..Pm me if you wish, i would be glad to do this favor.

It's like the powder you sprinkle on your popcorn at the movies. KERNELS has little shakers with flavoured powders for your popcorn.

The No Frills grocery store by my home sells them in the chip and cracker isle.

You guys are awesome! Any idea how much they are there? It would probably cost me about $30 US total to get 3 flavors sent to me by the company. (That's a rough guess of $15 on shipping).

The flavors I'm most interested in Ketchup, Dill Pickle and Salt & Vinegar. Probably 1 each of the Dill Pickle and Salt/Vinegar and maybe 5 of the Ketchup.

What kind of flavoring is the "All Dressed"? Is that a sweet or savory?

We'll be taking a vacation to PEI in June 2008 and I'll have to make sure I stock up on these when I'm over the border......we'll be flying from DC to northern New England and then driving the rest of the way.

Boy am I out of it. All I can think of for Ketchup Powder was the stuff we used to get in our MRE's (Meals Ready to Eat) in the Army. You'd get a little envelope of powder (about the size of a powdered coffee creamer packet) and you'd add water from your canteen and stir, and voila - ketchup! Never thought of putting it on my popcorn (if I'd even had any!)
