I am curious to know, what the new incentive is.....?

Wasn't the current one ending today?

The current one is ending today. I haven't heard anything yet.

Hi goldilocks_63 - I got a postcard from my rep yesterday. It said to call her for their "current special offers". I'm going to call her today, I'll let you know what she says.

I'm curious too. We just put our $500 down yesterday and are taking advantage of the previous incentive...$10 off per point. I hope the new incentive isn't better! LOL ;)

Ditto!!! lol.

The only incentive listed on Disney site is a free vacation. Does anyone know if this is still the "developers point" option that was available before? I'm planning on buying in August but was very tempted by the $10 per point "cash back" but I held off. Hey, maybe I'll be rewarded with a new DVC at the Contemporary. :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

This may be different if you are not an existing owner.
Based on a minimum add on of 100 pnts. $5 off if you use "04" use year. Points must be banked or used by in my case June 04.
or
$8 off if you take "05" use year.
with both of these options Disney will pay the dues for the remainder of this year.

If you purchase a minimum of 120 pnts. you get the same options as above but they will also throw in (one time allocation of) 100 pnts.

Based on 120 pnts. $500 to start and an additional $1320 at closing for 20% down.

3,5,7 or 10 years finance at 9.75%

based on 120 pnts with 20% down and 10 years expect a
$120.00 pmt per month and approx. $38.00 dues per month (once they start up next year)

My rep. is Celeste, she helped me with my 1st purchase and subsequent purchases and she is excellent. She can be reached at 800-827-7109.

There you have it, now you all can be as tormented as I am with the should I or shouldn't I decision

Do I have this right?
120 @ $90 (net of $5)= $10,800
Less 2004 & 2005 (rental assumed $10 with no dues) -$2400
100 bonus points (rental assumed $10 with no dues) - $1000
Net cost = $7,400 or $62 per point and you have 2006 and thereafter.
This seem like the best offer since SSR opened, I thought prices were going up?

I have papers sitting in front of me to sign :) I have a couple of questions is this correct , It appears to be a good offer! Can I get in on the new incentives or do i HAVE to follow through with these documents? Thanks :)

My Dog...
That's how my brain figured this out too. At $62 NET a point...I think I'd be forced to buy too!!!! BUt then, I have oft been prone to math dyslexia...so lets get some feedback here to see if this is right!
