Anyone hear anything about A Timeshare?

I bought my resale through Jaki. As other's have said, there are several good companies out there. When I purchased I contacted A timeshare.com as well the The Timeshare store. Both were very professional. Jaki just happened to have what I wanted first.

I was a non-member when I negotiated my price. Remember, EVERYTHING is negotiable! Never be too afraid to go low assuming you are okay with giving up that deal, but there are alot of other deals. That's why I went low. My agent also helped me negotiate with the sellers to get me the deal. So I lucked out.

As an owner of DVC that scares me should I ever need to sell. I purchased mine throught The Timeshare Store, Inc. and have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. You are saying that your "Agent helped me negotiate with the sellers to get me the deal." TTS works as a transaction broker and they told me that I could present an offer, however, the sellers might accept, counter or say they are firm at their price. I don't understand what you mean by "helped me." Were they only representing you? TTS was always up front that they were a transaction broker and would be willing to present any offers, however, the seller would have to agree. I guess I didn't know that maybe having someone only represent me was an option.

I understand buyers don't want to pay to much, however, should my need arise to sell I hope these companies look out for my best interest as well.

I also want to comment that TTS was great and they have invited me to stop by their office. When I spoke to the other companies they simply told me they were working out of their house. I wasn't too comfortable sending money to a company that didn't seem established.

I totally understand that people want to go to the companies that have the inventory they are looking for.

We have bought 2 resales from Jaki, and we would do it again, and we would be happy to buy something from the board's sponsors, TTS, as well. We are not presently in the market to buy anything. I've given hints to DS's (25 points would be nice for Mother's Day, but he just rolls his eyes.). And 25 point resales aren't often found on the public, I think people get names on a resale list.

I am currently buying a contract BCV from Jaki/****. **** is Jaki's son.

Everything has gone well thus far and the contract is being reviewed by Disney now. The price was low so it may not pass. But I can always find another one.

We purchase one of our contracts through Jaki, She was wonderful, and very professional. Many here have also reported a good experience purchasing from ******** at ******** and of course the Timeshare store. I wouldn't have any problem buying from any of these resale sites. When you're ready to buy, you need to buy from whoever is selling what you want- when you want it.

We purchased our BCV contract through Jaki in 2003 and everything was great. She even contacted us with our "perfect" contract before it even hit the listing sheets. Would definitely use her again.

It makes sense...after all TTS is the sponsor of this board, the disboards are part of business after all. Not sure why atimeshare is postable but yours isn't.

The broker that cannot be posted was the decision of Werner Enterprises and had NOTHING to do with us.

One thing I don't understand is why those that are so high on A Timeshare aren't posting on the board that she sponsors. Is that a fair question???

What is in the board filters is the decision of the DIS Administrators, and is not influenced by the TTS or other board sponsors.

I bought a OKW resale from Jaki in the fall of 2002. Please with the process and her attention to detail. She was always available to answer questions and kept me updated. Would use or recommend her to anyone.

A co-worker also used her more recently and was pleased with his purchase.
