Anyone heading down the end of May?

Well while at the passport office this morning we decided that we needed a little spring escape so when we got home we called down and booked a studio from May 22-27 @ SSR anyone else heading down then?

Nice we hope everyone has a great trip. Our kids have no idea they are going in May we have called the school and made all the arrangements and the kids will find out when we load them in the car and start the drive.

I hope to be able to I know my wife will but I almost slipped today LOL. I just need to be careful and all will be great we will let everyone know how it turns out after we do it. The teachers all want to come with us but we had to put our foot down we allready have 3 kids and don't need to bring another 3 LOL.

Hmm on the 25th we are doing breakfast at Chef Mickeys at 11:10 Am if anyone wants to hook up. We figured we would do a later breakfast as MK is open for extended magic hours that night so we would make a late night of it.

We'll be there May 21-28...dinner at Goofy's on the 25th and breakfast at Storyteller's cafe on the 28th, just before we head home

Can't wait! The kids are counting sleeps already! We tried to keep it a secret to surprise them later...I was just too excited and wanted them to share in the planning with me!

That's awesome if you can keep it a secret. I, unfortunately, would never be able to accomplish that! Not only would it be written all over my face, I start to stockpile the snacks, ponchos, sandals, summer clothes, etc in my dining room about 3 weeks before the trip. My kids never ask "when are we going" ... they just wait to see the "buildup" and they know it's coming soon.

Congrats on the spur of the moment trip ... wish I was going soon too.

Uh Oh just got word today at work they may not be abvle to grant me my time in May. I guess it could be the fact I allready have 3 weeks booked off for other trips and I am using my 14 sickdays for something else who knew LOL. If not then I will make it over our Thanksgiving weekend and week as I was told I could take that time allready.

That's too bad. Good thing you hadn't already told the kids 'cause it's always so sad when plans change in a non-positive way. It's hard enough for adults to understand but kids have an even harder time.

We're going down the weekend after Thanksgiving. Will you have already left to head back home by then?

If we go over Thanks giving it will be from the 9th to the 14th of October. Although I recieved an e mail tonight about 10 minutes ago that says they may let me go but I have to wait till after the 15th of April for the final word.

Maryliz-My DD and I might be there the same time as you in Oct
I've booked Oct 16-31 but we will actually only stay for about 8 days during that timeframe, I'm waiting to see when she can get the time off work.We've been to the MVMCP but never the MVMHP or the W&F festival as we've never been in Oct before.

Going down w/ DH & DS(2) May 20th - 25th. Couldn't pass up the $49 each way flights down from Buffalo. Just too tempting!!!

Hi katypop -- we're hoping to do MNSSHP as well! Susan-Ontario has done it before and said it's awesome, so it's on the agenda for us since we'll be there together with her family

We'll have to meet up for a Dole-whip or Mickey bar together when you're there! Call it a mini-London DIS meet!
