Anyone have this issue with Palo?

I have to agree with Ave. We did both Brunch and Dinner on the 10/11 cruise. Brunch, IMO, was worth it. The food was very good and I am still dreaming about the gigantic bowl of fresh berries.

Dinner, OTOH, was only just okay. The food was, IMO, no better than that in the dining rooms and while our server was good we missed our regular servers Philip and George.

We were at a table for 4 both times so our issues had nothing to do with a large party. We just felt that our experience at Palo did not meet our expectations.

We are also going on the 10/2/04 and will probably do brunch but not dinner.

Taking afternoon tea is a favorite thing to do when in a big city. We go to NYC once a year and are speding the week of Thanksgiving there. We have reservations at the Plaza for tea. It will be a once in a lifetime...moment.

Everyone else

Another strange thing about our beloved Palo that has happened to our family is each of the three times we have dined there we alway order a brick oven pizza but are never given one. We are so wowed by the extra appetizer, entree and dessert they bring out they we usually don't notice until back in the room.

Has anyone ever actually received a pizza at NIGHT in Palo? We thought maybe they didn't like starting the brick oven at night and just used it for Brunch?

I love DCL. We are on a countdown for our Jan 4. Western!!!

We ordered and received the Margherita pizza on our 10/11 cruise.

We had pizza on both nights we dined there...we had more than one pizza as well. They are absolutely delicious.
