My DD will turn 3 on our next trip to WDW. I thought about taking her to the Princess Tea at the GF. But unless something drastically changes in the next 6 1/2 months, I think she may become bored. She does bore easily.

We had her birthday last year at CM. Now this year, she is Princess Crazy. We did CRT breakfast last year also and with the price increase and now 2 TS credits, I really don't think its worth it.

How is 1900 park Fare? Cinderella is her favorite. What do they do for birthdays?

DD celebrated her 4th birthday at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. It was really great. There was a tiara waiting for her at our table as well as a laminated autographed placemat. Alice in Wonderland sang "Happy Birthday" when our server brought out a cupcake with a candle. We've been to 1900 Park Fare for dinner on 2 other occasions. The food, service and character interaction has always been above average.

I am also interested. My daughter turns 7 in two weeks. I have dinner reservstions for us at both 1900 PF and CRT and am now choosing between them for the dinner. I am not sure the CRT is worth it for our group of 6. The menu doesn't look great and I would like something special for her that night. The program at CRT, according to recent reviews, is very "canned" and doesn't seem to celebrate individual celebrations.
I was planning on ordering a cake and I heard GF has good cakes and designs. As you can see I am leaning toward 1900. Any comments?
Any input is appreciated. Thank you.

We just celebrated my DD3's birthday at 1900 Park Fare on 2/28 and it was magical!! Our waiter was Domingo and he went above and beyond to make our princess' birthday wonderful. First of all, I ordered Cinderella's slipper from the GF bakery for her. I also ordered the dog bones for my DS6 so he wouldn't feel left out and because he is such a great big brother! When I checked in at the desk, they knew about my order from the bakery. Our waiter knew about it right when we sat down and told me he would time it so Cinderella would be at the table when we sang Happy Birthday. Unbelievably, this happened! It did not happen at another table where a little one was having a birthday so I know he definitely coordinated everything. My DD was given the laminated placemat (he also gave my DS one) and a birthday tiara. The slipper was wonderful, and she now tells everyone she ate Cinderella's slipper in Disney world! By the way, this was at dinner. We also went to Chef Mickey's for breakfast, so she had an unforgettable day. I think 1900 PF is a great place to celebrate a birthday.

We had good luck there as well. DD8 had her birthday dinner there, Prince Charming presented her with her birthday cupcake, they gave her a "Happy Birthday" tiara, gave DD10 a pretty tiara as well so she did not feel excluded. Also received the laminated placemat. We have a picture of the prince with her and the cupcake, really cute. Unfortunately I don't know how to post the pic :( We were staying at GF, on the birthday day we came back to the room (before dinner). Both girls had personalized, autographed cards from Cindy and the birthday girl had a beautiful GF chocolate bar.

We are doing 1900 Park Fare on Sunday for DDs 9th birthday. I sometimes wish I had scheduled it for dinner, but sounds like breakfast is pretty special as well. We will have to try dinner another time. We have one of her friends, and the parents joining us who enjoy Disney, but have never been to a character meal, so I am really looking forward to experiencing it with them.

We are having a late breakfast, so I ordered a choc cake for us to indulge in... heck it's the GF, I gotta try the bakery!

Well it sounds like alot of people had good exprience at 1900 Park fare. I will tell you about one that wasn't good. We just returned from Disney in Jan. my DS was turning 4, so I wanted it to be special and have everyone be just as excited as I was. I first had ressies at Chef's Mickey, changed it to Ohanas changed it again because I though we need the characters to be able to talk with him, sing to him and just be able to communicate to him about his birthday. What a mistake 1900 park fare was. I had to ask for his Birthday Crown, No big fuss by any of the characters, except Prince Charming. I order a cake ahead of time, it was still frozen and Cinderalla refused to come to our table to sing Happy Birthday. She said she seen us already and it was time for her break. The waitress called the manager out and he agreed with Cinderalla. As much as I like the food there I will never go back. IT WAS A BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT! I was so upset, I though the speaking characters would have been more fun then the non-ones but I was wrong. I know my son won't remeber it, but I will never forget it.

We didn't celebrate a birthday there, but just went for dinner, and I have to say that I was really disappointed. First the food was just OK, not as great as I expected by reading some of the reviews. (I know, I know it's a buffet). But the worst was the wait for the characters. We were done with dinner, and our waitress wanted to know why we were still sitting there, and we told her that we were still waiting for Perla. It seemed as though Cinderella was constantly on break. (She was very nice when she finally did get around to us (a lot nicer than the one we met at the castle earlier in the week)). We saw Prince Charming twice, because it seemed like he was the only one circulating around the dining room. When he came around the second time, he asked us if we would like to have our picture taken with him. I didn't have the heart to tell him that we just took a picture with him about 20 minutes earlier. Overall we thought the place was very crowded and unorganized, but I don't know maybe it was an off night. But we will probably try something new next time.
