One Step Ahead has an umbrella type stroller for $40-$50. It is supposedley light weight and easy to carry on your shoulder. It also reclines and has a basket underneath for storage. It sounds perfect for us, but I wondered if anyone else has ever tried it. TIA!

I had it, and used it in Disney once. It was hard to push with a heavier child in it. I sold it and bought a Mac.

DD is already 47 pounds and will be more by the time of our trip. I really would like something that she can ride in that reclines and has a basket and is easy to transport when the kids would rather be walking. The problem is we really don't need a stroller for anything else except WDW so I hate to spend a huge amount of money. We have an expensive off-road type stroller that is huge and bulky so we NEVER use it. And we have the $15 umbrella type that is very lightweight but doesn't recline or have storage. We are planning to take it, but need another one that will hold a bigger kid. I saw the Britax ones on ebay and they weren't too expensive but it said the weight limit was 40 lbs. so I guess it's out.

I bought it just before the last trip in November. It worked out quite well for our 7 months old DS until we lost a wheel. All we know is that the stroller was intact when we got on a bus leaving from AK, and when we got off at BC and unfolded it, one of the back wheel was missing.:confused3 We ended up buying a Kolcraft stroller at the Marketplace at BC.

I used it over the summer with my dd who hasn't hit 40lbs yet, I had to have my brother push it because I couldn't turn it.

I saw that stroller too and it looks exactly like a generic Combi. Same style/design, just different colors and less $$$. However, I had a combi and got rid of it because DS was never really comfy in it, it was very narrow. It was also a little wobbly(has no crossbar for stability).
Here's a link to a good option:

This stroller is certified up to 50lbs(not listed on the link I gave you but I found it on another site where it's being sold for twice as much) Good Luck:thumbsup2

I had one, and returned it...Bought it for DW trip, and couldn't get it to stay up....Wouldn't lock. I wouldn't bother....I would go to Babies R Us, and try them out before you buy.....Nothing worse than paying shipping to return a stroller error....
