Does anyone have the new pirate menu? I would love to look at it before we sail 10-16-04. I'm alittle upset though, I went out and bought the entire family topical Mickey outfits for what I thought was going to be tropicalifagalistic (sp) night. Oh well!

Thanks!

I would be very interested in seeing the new menu too. Thanks to anyone that can post details!

I think I would just wear the tropical outfits and add the bandana that they give you and be pirately tropical.

By all means wear the tropical outfits. Pirates are tropical. :D

I'd love to know what's on the menus for this Pirate theme. If it has actually changed much at all. I'm just obsessive about my upcoming cruise. No other good reason for me to know. lol

I agree. Pirates are very tropical! I'm planning on sticking with the tropical wear I have from previous cruises.

We've already bought our tropical outfits. Maybe we'll put cameras around our necks and claim to be pirates on vacation.

Hi Julie!

I've been trying to find the Pirate menu too. Someone posted about having one, but he/she couldn't find it at the moment because they had just gotten home. Hopefully someone will send one to Dave or Barb soon.

I'm disappointed about the change to. I haven't been on the eastern (or western) Magic yet and was looking forward to the Tropicali dinner and deck party. :(

We feel the same way. We are on the Western cruise for the first time and were really looking forward to Mexicali.... night! The DCL rep I spoke with said many people (including myself) had expressed disappointment that they didn't choose a theme night that is practiced on BOTH cruises (like It's a Small World/Around the World or the Chef's Night). Since you get that on both itineraries, there's a good chance you've already experienced them. However, to change a theme night that is only offered on that particular itinerary doesn't seem to make any sense.

Anyway, I'm sure it will still be fun. But I sure was looking forward to the Mexican food night!

We did Pirates night and thought the food was one of the best dinners we had in the dining room.

You will NOT be out of place in your tropical attire!! The picture backgrounds are the same.

I still can't find my menu! I am very upset! I know I packed them and even asked for extras to mail to Barb and Dave.

that is my question too.
Is the pirates theme on the western also?
I didn't care much for the mexicalli menu so a new one would be quite welcome to me!

I know exactly where I can lay my hands on that pirate menu but I am at work (sob) and the menu is at home. I'll post it later tonight when I get home if nobody comes up with it by then. They were made to look like treasure maps and were tied up with string. DS brought home several of them. I thought the pirate menu was great but I don't have anything to compare it to (this was our first Disney cruise). I especially loved the desserts!

I'm wondering if the pirate theme/menu is just for the special cruises...I noticed one of the new ports had a pirate excursion.

Oh no! Figures I made our Palo Ressies for through REAS on Tropicali night! I can't wait to see the menu to see if I want to change it to another night! Back to the drawing board!
