Anyone have the dolphin feeding times for SW?

I will be going to SW next week and I would love to have the opportunity to feed the dolphins. Does anyone know the specific times that are available for this? Thanks!

Hi. I also tried in vain to find out this info before we left. Even SW themselves say they do not have a set schedule, they told me I would have to look at the info sheet when you get into the parks or at the posted times at the dolphin pool. Then when we actually got to the parks we didn't feel like waiting around to do it. They have a few different feedings a day. I kind of recall there being one around noon or 1:30 since my kids were too hungry and we had to get lunch instead of feeding them.

Hi both, We always get to SW just befor it opens, as it opens we go straight to the dolphins and feed them about 1/2 hour later, make sure you get in line asap. Have fun, oh yes when feeding dolphins hold the fish up high as you can get to give them a good rub before giving them the fish, also it makes a great photo (cm taking photos from the path the other side of the dolphin pool) or take your own, we took great video of our boys feeding them.

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the first feeding is at 9:15am. The park opens at 9am, right? So, I quess that would make sense to get in and head straight to the dolphins.

The CM's take pictures of everyone feeding???

Hi poohbeck, yes around 9.15/9.30, When you buy the fish look up on the rocks there is a walk way get the CM attention befor giving the dolphin the fish, when they have taken the photos another Cm behind you will give you a piece of paper with a number on it and tell you how to look at the photo(you dont have to buy them) also you can feed them later in the day and choose the best one.

The feeding times do vary because the fish have to be factored in to the dolphin's diet. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes and feeding for the dolphins can't be predicted. Best bet is to get there early and ask when the times will be for that day. And while holding the fish up high may be good, sometimes, it's generally not a good idea as the birds in the area are nutty for fish, too and will somtimes come and steal it out of your hands. Just be careful. That goes for the sea lion feedings, too. Except that they're pigs and usually have the public feeding open all day.

actually, the dolphin feedings are the same times every day for training purposes. the first feeding of the day is 9:15 every day. I suggest you hit it. the crowd is smaller, and the dolphins are much more receptive . have your camera ready and have fun.
