yes dd got it for Chirstmas - the same mini version - yep I can usually come up with something to stump it...used snowman once & it didn't get it...can't think of the others we used yet - but yes - it's kinda weird to think it can come up with some difficult things.....of course fruits/veggies it'll get 'cause of the 1st questions it asks....
We were given one at a technology conference last Nov. and passed it around on the plane on the way home. We really got a kick out of it (only stumped it a few times).
We bought the slightly bigger 20Q when it was on sale at Target before Christmas for standing in lines. We have stumped it a few times....which is quite strange because it wasn't supposed to come out of the package until July
I got the little one last Christmas (not 2005) and we have a great time with it! It shocked all of us when we took it to DS6's karate class and his instructor was answering the questions and at the end we read off....it says "Is it a katana?" which I had no clue what that was..... well he was floored because it's a special karate sword or something and that was what he was thinking of. WEIRD!! He was so spooked after that!
Try "wheelchair". So far, it has not guessed that, and I used "wheelchair" at least a dozen times just to make sure it would NOT guess it! If YOUR 20Q guesses it, let me know!
Someone brought one into work before Christmas and I thought it was really neat. I couldn't find one after Christmas, but did find one in time for Valentine's Day. DS really gets a kick out of it. He stumped it once, but I can't recall what the word was.
I downloaded the mobile version onto my phone. It's not very bright. I'll select 'vegetable' and it'll ask me if it has four legs...I certainly hope not.
