Hey guys I have a questions and that maybe you can come up some suggestions. Me and my fianc'e will be getting married on April 4th. That is a Sunday. We leave Monday morning to spend our honeymoon at Walt Disney World. We will be there from Monday, April 5th to Saturday April 10th. Now this is 6 days and 5 nights of pure magic. Now we know it is the week before Easter and we know we will have fun or at least to try and have fun no matter what. What suggestions do you have for a strategy for visiting the parks. We have a our ps for Chef Mickey's on Tuesday morning, the 6th, We will be at Ohana's on friday night, the 9th, and we have a ps for the fantasmic dinner package. I believe this is on the Wednesday. We are staying at CBR. Now what park would you suggest for monday, tuesday, etc.... We want to see all the shows we can and ride the good rides like haunted mansion and pirates and all the other good ones. But if you can give us some suggestions...it would be much appreciated.

Look forward to hearing from all of you.

If you aren't doing the EMH-- avoid those parks on those dates. Don't know what your budget is-- but some "romantic" ideas: really gonna be hard to get but possibly an Illuminations Cruise, spa treatments, carriage rides at FW or POR. Use FP it will be at your advantage. It can help you get twice as much done. We always arrive at a non-EMH park at opening each day. In the first 2 hours we can usually knock off 2-3 major attractions w/ minimal wait. If you are into things like TOT & RRNRC. Get a FP for one then get in line for the other. First thing in the morning it almost always works that you can go right into line then for your FP once you're done w/ the first ride (works nicely w/ TT and M:S too!!) Stay for the kiss goodnight at MK-- How romantic!!! Most of all just enjoy each other at the most magical place on earth-- and congratulations!!!!!!!!

If you do enjoy the early entry rides at MK I suggest that you at least do early entry for that park....I also agree to try to do a illuminations cruise...but at this late date you would probably have to call daily while there to see if there was a cancelation....IT DOES HAPPEN...we got a boat on Christmas Eve because somebody canceled....

Arrive early, arrive early did I say arrive early.::yes:: Use fast pass and arrive early. For a fun evening go Fort Wilderness and do Hoop De Do Review dinner show and after show take a hay ride.Congratulations::yes:: :wave2:

Other suggestion if you find the parks crowded and you want some quiet time - go to Animal Kingdom Lodge. Arrive in time for the African Storytelling held out by the fire pit, then have dinner at Jiko (Boma is interesting but it is noisy). After dinner, go to the night-vision viewing of the animals.

After, splurge on a taxi to get back to CBR. A very relaxing night. And congrats on tying the knot!

Congratulations!

As everyone has said, arrive early, and take breaks or change parks when they become too crowded. If you aren't doing EMH, avoid the EMH park of the day. This from the person who could not manage EMH during most of two trips (west to east time change)!

Plan to see Wishes at MK at least once (you can catch the goodnight kiss the same night). I always liked FITS, but Wishes is in a class of its own!

You'll need to do some research to find out what night(s) Wishes is scheduled for your visit, then plan Fantasmic and IllumiNations (EPCOT) around it. Since IllumiNations is completely automated, it rarely is cancelled and Fantasmic is nightly unless weather prevents it, Wishes tends to be the one to plan around. If it conflicts with your Fantasmic booking, you might want to see if you can change that to another night.

Beyond that, just plan what the two of you enjoy doing together most. You already have two meals planned and personally, unless there is another restaurant you really want to enjoy, I wouldn't plan too many more or you'll feel over scheduled. Of course, if you prefer to tour the parks commando style, that might not be the case!

Since you're on your honeymoon, relax, explore and enjoy the magic! Make plans, but be ready to change them if a park becomes too crowded.

Enjoy!

I should know this. And, I'll probably feel foolish once you tell me. But...

What is EMH?

Hey we appreciate all the advice so far, but what about the parks. Any suggestions for which park to visit for that mon, tues, wed, etc....

also, what about renting a car. We just don't want to spend all our time waiting in line for the buses to get us there if you know what I mean.

Try Thrifty for the car. Check out the transportation board. I heard people were getting $79.00/week. Pick up a copy of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. They have all the strategies you arre looking for as well as touring plans that will save you time in line.
Congrats!:bride: :groom:

We go to MGM on Monday,Magic Kingdom on Tuesday,Animal Kingdom on Wed. and Epcot on Thursday.Touring at these parks on these days during different seasons has worked for us in past.Magic Kingdom has always been most crowded of parks we visit on any day.:wave2:

My suggestion is to buy the Unofficial Guide to WDW and read it cover to cover. We bought it the first time when we went on our honeymoon and it helped us get the most out of our experience! I have bought it almost every year since. I highly recommend it for touring plans.

EMH stands for Extra Magic Hour which is what they are calling Early Entry now. It is for resort guests only.

Have a blast! And don't forget to get your Mickey mouse bride and groom hats! And also tell everyone everywhere you go that it is your honeymoon - we got lots of free desserts and drinks when we did that!! ;)
