Anyone have res for Poly concierge mid Sept- mid Oct?

Still driving myself crazy here! Today I started worrying that I'm traveling with just DD(6) on Friday and we will be joined by friend and her DD(6). So I have there names on the reservation so they can maybe check in if they get in first (they did do this in 2002). Then the other 4 in my crew join us on Sunday when friend goes home and I figured I'd pay the extra $25/night for just those 7 nights. So now I'm worried that if they do change our reservation they will try to offer me WL or AKL as replacements and we can't fit in those rooms. I'll be sending my concerns to IPO tomorrow! Hope they can make me feel better.

Okay, I'm just a little peeved now!

I emailed my FTW coordinator and asked about the remodel/refurbishment...she said this was the first she'd heard about it!

She gave me a phone number to the resort (front desk, I guess)...and the first lady I spoke with transferred me to someone who was supposed to know about the renovations. The second lady said she doesn't know anything about them!

THEN she says that the dates change every day and I should call about a week before I'm supposed to be there because they won't know for sure what dates until then!! So now I'm thinking something is weird because at first she told me that she didn't know anything about it!

Okay, so I told her I have reservations for my wedding and my concierge room for 9/19-9/23 and isn't the concierge staff supposed to send out some kind of "planning package" about 6 weeks in advance? She says I will get a package from the "wedding reservation people" about a month in advance.

At this point I have decided that she doesn't have a clue. And I'm beginning to wonder where all these incredible CM's I keep hearing about are at because I have YET to talk to someone who seems to know what is going on!

I am officially freaked out about my wedding plans now...oh, I'm sure the ceremony itself will go off without a hitch...I just don't know where we're staying yet!!!!

I'm going to search for the email address and a few other phone numbers. I'm behind on stuff for work but I am making some phone calls tonight!!!!

I just sent an email to them.

I called Disney reservations and they told me that the planned remodel must just be a rumor because they don't see anything about it from their end!

I find it a little hard to believe that SOMEONE doesn't know SOMETHING!!!!

I'm editing this to add that I got a response from someone at Poly concierge. Basically the dates he has given me are 9/12-10/12...which means our plans are changing. I'm sure the wedding part will stay the same...but we were really looking forward to Poly concierge.

So now we have to make a decision...stay at the Poly anyway (non-concierge and get a refund/credit) or stay somewhere else (concierge, most likely the CR or GF)...but that seems to change the WHOLE theme of our stay...I'm so disappointed right now...here come the tears

Did they offer you anything? Seems like they should be the ones making you happy-not you scrambling to try to find something yourself. I would hope they would upgrade you to GF main building....

I think you need this I'll send some pixie dust that they do come through for you in a big way.

I also sent IPO an email yesterday but haven't heard yet. I did ask lots of other questions too so I'm sure they are researching those issues too. It will be interesting to see if they give me the same dates.
