Hi everyone,
I am hoping someone can help. I tried relentlessly to make a photobook on blurb, snapfish, and mypublisher using the CD I received from my photographer. Each time I have run into so many errors saying this photo cannot be downloaded etc,. It's as if lots of the images from the CD cannot be used to be a part of the photobook. Ive called the above mentioned help numbers and it did not help the cause at all. Unfortunately the people seemed clueless! Has anyone else experienced difficulty making a photobook with their CD? If so does anyone have any suggestions-Thanks so much!

Is the file size to large for each photo? I ran into a problem with some photos that had enhancements where the size was too big for some programs. I shrank the size and they were fine.

The problem might be the EXACT opposite of being too large (because i've uploaded some HUGE files to mypublisher & shutterfly before), the images might be too small, if the images aren't large enough to be sized at 300dpi the photobook software will not add it to your book because it won't print at high quality. If you didn't buy the hi resolution files or if they weren't included in the package you may be trying to use "proof" size images. I'd love to say it's easy to check the size issue but if you don't have photoshop or a program along those lines where you can properly resize or check i'm at a loss :confused3 Also another problem could be the files format, mypublisher will NOT accept any file other than a JPG. I hope some of that may have helped. I hope it works out for you :goodvibes

If you want some help with images send them to me and i'll have a look for you. I have the latest photoshop so can check size etc and resave. It also maybe a simple changing them from rgb to cmyk or vice versa as sometimes this can cause a problem in reading the files.
