I have wanted shutters on the windows in the foyer and dining room since we've lived here. (8 years) DH has put me off for that long. I've had it! He swears there's NO WAY he can install them because of the type of trim we have. I think he's BS-ing me and he just doesn't want to put them in.
He also has a problem with the faux wood shutters cause they're made of plastic and he thinks they look cheap. Well, the real wood ones will cost around $300 per window! YIKES!!!
Does anyone have these in their house? Faux wood, or real wood? Were they easy to install, or did you have the pros install them? I only want them about 2/3 up the window with a regular valance on the top of the window.
