We bought a Profile 4 (it's very cool, all in one piece desktop computer) from Gateway almost 3 years ago - purchased the extended warranty, thankfully - as we've had the motherboard and hard drive, along with the keyboard and mouse replaced several times.
Now I think it's really dead - they've had it since May 8, a part has been on back order since then... the CSR says after 14 business days of a part on back order, they'll give me "options". This computer was $2300 including the warranty, a similarly equipped new model is almost half of that! Will they give me a GW credit towards a new one? A replacement of the same model? A comparably equipped new model?
