Anyone have any news about SSR new pool area?

Several weeks ago I spoke with our DVC guide who told me there were plans for a new large pool and water play area at SSR. He described the "mini water park" as having a racetrack theme.

Has anyone else heard about this? If so, where are they planning on building this and when?

From what my guide told me two weeks ago, it will be a racetrack themed pool in the Grandstand section that is currently being built. He estimated the finish of the area around spring of next year (his guestimate).

I am sure they will push the finish of SSR along with the announcement of AKV. When I was there two weeks ago, it really looked like things are moving along well. I think my guides estimate is about right.
