Anyone have a year round tree?

I'm a sucker for decorations, especially Disney. Hubby recently agreed to let me put a year round celebration tree (3ft) in our living room.

Does anyone decorate Disney year round? Tips for getting started? TIA!

We used to have our fake Christmas tree up but without the Christmas lights. Used to decorate it for Easter. But now it lies in our basement for the past 10 years

I went to the Disney Outlet yesterday and they have some Christmas Ornaments on sale.

You could make ornaments using pictures of your past trips as well as some Disney Ornaments. Give it a personal touch (other then disney store ornaments). Also a stuffed mickey as an angel is not bad either.

If you have a trip coming up, you could always use the tree as a count down. Like put numbers going down the tree. Or daily pictures count down with you and your family holding a sign saying " 3 days to go" looking silly.

Hallmark has a monthly Disney ornament collection that looks super cute. I'm realizing that this is going to be a years long collecting process.

I bought a 3ft pre-lit tree from Hobby Lobby for $23. For September, I went with a football theme: blue and orange for the Denver Broncos. I don't have a topper yet. Will have to hunt for Disney football stuff or make my own.

Zulily.com had the Jim Shore Mickey Mouse Football Figurine and Coach Donald Duck Figurine for $12.99 (reg. $40.00) and $9.99 (reg. $24)!!! I snapped those up and another Halloween one.

I love that idea! May have to borrow that idea, Don't know where on earth i could put it. My husband will think I have lost my mind! Except for September when it is decorated for Clemson football. He says I have too many trees ! How could that possibly be? Too many trees. NEVER!
