Anyone have a Samsung Rant?

I desperately need a new cell phone (Sprint). I have an LG Rumor and I love all of the capabilities, but it has very poor sound quality. It's definitely the phone and not the area b/c my SO's sound quality sounds just fine-different cell phone, same company and area.

I've been reading about the Samsung Rant & it's very similar to the LG Rumor but several reviews say it's much better.

Any experience with the Samsung Rant? Hows the voice/sound quality?

I just got one about a week ago and I love it! I haven't had any issues with the sound at all.

I went from a RAZR to this...and I much prefer the Rant to the RAZR. I hated my RAZR and had a lot of problems with it. So far, the Rant has been great. And I love having the keyboard to text with

We just upgraded both of our teens from the Rumor to Rants.
No complaints at all about the sound quality....
BUT they are both serious texters (10,000 or so each/each month) and they do complain that the keys on the keyboard are considerably smaller, and have slowed their texting speed.
Dont know if thats a concern for you, but I thought I'd mention it!

You can't hold the phone between your cheek and shoulder, it just slips out. I'm not familiar with the Rumor, so I don't know how this compares in weight. I went from the Razr to the Rant and this one weighs a little more, but not too bad. But I can sure tell a difference when I put it in my purse. And it is a little bulky when I carry it in my back pocket.

Those aren't really problems, but those are the slightest negatives I can think of. I love it and I LOVE the fact it comes in a really cool purple color.
