*Anyone have a Mazda 3(perferably 2006 year)...??*

Hey everyone!
I'm looking for anyone who owns a 2006 Mazda 3.. or a Mazda 3 from the year of 2006 on up??

-I own a 06'Mazda 3 4 door sedan...

I'm pretty mad because its in great shape, I take good care of it AND all of a sudden one day my "display" where my time/outside temperature and radio/CD info is displayed just went WACKO!
It seems "broken" and flashes a bunch of #'s and letters and symbols..
My CD/my radio and the rest of my dashboard lights seem to be fine.. so i've concluded its just the display..

What I'm wondering is if this happened to ANYONE?? If this weird thing did..how much did it cost to get fixed??

I haven't called the dealership yet, I will Monday, I don't believe I have warranty--I bought it used but only had 1 owner, only had 16,000 miles and I bought it in 07' and it was only a '06.

Its soo frustrating because I can't believe a car like this would randomly do this.. ! GRR !

Did you check your fuses? Maybe just a wacky connection...

I work for a group of dealerships, one is a Mazda dealership. I have everone in my family driving Mazda's and I haven't heard of this. I can check at my place if you don't have any luck. When the radio in my wife's older Mazda broke I replaced it with one from Crutchfield.com. They are much cheaper than my employee price, and the radio is much better than Mazda's.

haha yes exactly see what I mean I never heard of this either.. LOL i should have taken a pic of it..maybe I will tonight and then post it.. but like I said you can probably imagine what Im talking about the display where the time and temp is etc. well the radio/cd player works and so do all the buttons and all the other dash lights etc.

just soo odd! i had crappier cars like my old old plymouth neon in high school and i never had any stupid problems like this
