Just wondering if anyone might have a spare scratch off flausa lottery ticket you might be able to send me--losing one of course. I need it to get the lottery rate at HIFS--thanks in advance, Ilisa

Can't you just buy one when you get to Fla?:confused

Yes, you can and it's very easy to get one. Go to a nearby gas station and scratch away!! I did it once to get a discount on Universal tickets and surprising had a hard time getting a losing ticket! I ended up getting the tickets PLUS about $25! :D

At the flalottery.com,
CLIC on instant tickets and find the "play FLA USA" $ 2 TIX, select on the map, central Florida and read the deals, some have time constaints as to days before arriving with each vendor like HIFS and Universal and I think Sea World.

When are you going?

Too ALL present:
suggest joining the Holiday Inn Prefered Guest Club and mention to the agent the preferences you want in accommodations.

ENJOY! :jester:

I don't see any restrictions on dates for the HIFS... we are going 10/19-10/29... will it work? I see $109 for kidsuite with 2 adult dinners. We currently have at $99 without dinners with my mom travelign with us being a senior. Is there any way to combine these deals??

Thanks!
Julie P.

The $109 rate should include Dinner for the adults and kids eat free from 5-10pm, I THINK.

We didn't think we would use the dinner vouchers, but used 3 out of 4 nights, especially if Disney closes the parks early like in April, it was easy getting back to HIFS before the Dinner buffet is over, we got food, drinks and ice creams.

Also ask HIFS about refill mugs.

Think about returning to HIFS for the pool during the day and have dinner before returning to the parks (epcot, mgm), at's a thought.
We average $25-40 family of four for dinner at Disney.

Like I tell anyone going to WDW on vacation do your home work and plan what you want to do because WDW is SOOOOOOO BIIIIIG Now.

We stayed at HIFS in June with the $109 lottery deal also. Two adult dinner buffets are included while the kids eat at the buffet for free. ALSO, up to 4 kids eat free (including drink) for lunch for every 1 paying adult. This includes lunch at the Pizza Hut and A&W counter service. I would order a personal pizza and drink for myself and each of my 3 kids their own. My oldest is only 5 so the kids didn't come close to eating all the pizza, so dh got to eat free too. Lunch for 5 of us came to about $6!! :D

Actually, they never even asked for my lottery ticket so I must still have it somewhere. If I find it, I'd be happy to send it to someone. Just curious MK Familystone, did they take yours when you checked in?

We had one scratch tix for each nite.
The Guest Service Person at HIFS check-in only asked for one, and was very low key in asking.
If you like playing scratch tixs, the tix has interesting results. Check out the odds table at flalottery.com. and compare your home state Tixs.

I suggest anyone going to HIFS take a little time watching the TV presentation in the room explainig the resort.

Hi all!

I went to http://www.wdwinfo.com/hifs/ and used the code listed, WT3, and got the $109 family value rate without a lottery ticket. When I called they tried to say it was $129, or that it "started" at $109, but I was insistent. I gave her the website where the code was listed and after giving me a little grief, they honored it! Our very first WDW trip is Oct. 19-25, 5 of us, so every penny saved counts! Hope this helps someone!

BrennyK: I just contacted HIFS and was told that that code had expired, but she could not tell me when. I got the $109 rate when I booked yesterday for our trip in November, I just have to bring in the lottery ticket. I thought it would be easier without having to stop at a gas station on the way from the airport, but I guess we will make a quick stop to save some money. Who knows, maybe I will win some money to spend in WDW!

We purchased 2 tickets to get the free year on our annual passes. My DH won $15 bucks, so we had to go back and get another one with his win money.
We live in Texas and were at guest services with our losing ticket to get the upgrade until the CSR told us we would have to pay the full price of each ticket to get the free year. By that I mean we purchased our AP's thru FANCLUB for 99.95. Regualr price is 159.95. We would have to pay the extra $59.95 per ticket to get the upgrade. We decided not to since we would have to shell out additional money. We booked next years visit a week early so our passes will still be valid.
I know they say this offer is only for certain states but I would give it a shot at guest services since this AP would be valid for 3 years if you time it right.

Liferbabe, I'm confused. Are you talking about getting Annual Passes this cheap?

Also, Busy Mom, sorry that code didn't work for you. I guess if you look at the site it shows that it expries December 2001 -- I just figured that was a type sincce I just called a couple of weeks ago and got my rate:(

I purchased AP's for 99.95 last May from the FANCLUB Website. Regular price is 159.95 The offer for the free year is with the $159 AP's so I would have had to make up the discount I received from FANCLUB.

Hope this helps and yes the AP's were CHEAP!

Are you talking about Universal or Disney APs, Liferbabe???

I did that same deal with my Universal AP. The Disney AP is much more expensive and I was afraid that would be confusing.
