I always have left overs. Usually enough for a meal for one. I took some ham and beans I made and put them in a plastic bowl and froze them over night. They came out very easily as a block. I sealed it and stuck it back in the freezer. I did the same with left over spaghetti sauce. We'd had it for a couple of days and were tired of it.
Dh travels a lot and sometimes doesn't eat dinner. Although he never asks me to make him anything when it's late it will be wonderful to have something I can just pop in the microwave for him.
I'm still getting the hang of this.
I want to get some canisters and also the mason jar sealers. There is also an accessory for wine. The canisters are used when you want something sealed but do not want to crush it. Chips, cereal, fruit, veggies.
