I am *trying* to grab more studio space in our DD's old bedroom. She stays in the room when she visits tho , so need to keep a bed (twin is fine) available. While I would love a Murphy bed, it is not in the budget. I am looking for at least an 8' thick mattress/bed cushion and as few exposed frame pieces as possible (small room, I don't want to scrape a shin)
I have seen a few that could maybe work, but hoping some may have real life info to share.
I love this one but I can't find who carries it (looks like a lazyboy to me) know it is out of my budget
I also love how easy this is and compact, but the thickness is a little thinner than I'd hoped

I had semi-slept on a love seat style one when my Mom was in her last days. I don't remember it being either comfortable or uncomfortable (I don't recall much other than my Mom during that time) so I wonder if the chair size one's are less comfy than the love seat size,,,hmmmm. Well, for now I just have it up against the wall (off the frame) on it's side. DH *might* make a frame to fit around it, sort of like a murphy bed concept, just without the rising/lowering mechanism etc. This way I will have the top of the outer frame to use like a dresser or cabinet top to hold stuff too. Thanks for the replies all, I guess I better just save the $ and go with a creative DIY solution.
. Yeeeaaahhhh...I have been trying to move from here for over 30 years
so not really believing him AND it wouldn't be for another 15 years after retirement (as if that is gonna happen anyway) Besides, the furniture is so out of date and too large for the room, a Realtor would say to get rid of it anyway and stage. I am reaching my breaking point as DD has been gone solid for 5 years and I am going to make use of that room for other than a museum to her H.S. years lol
