My DH is looking at one. His Ford truck is just about ready to keel over.
My Dh was gone about 3 hours yesterday and drives up with this beautiful truck. My heart sank cause I was thinking we could not afford another vehicle. The good news is that they have given him quite a deal on it.
It's a 2006.

When I did a search online to see if there were any problems, I only come up with dealerships, used, etc. No real experience from owners out there.
Since this is a big board, thought maybe one person might have a Colorado.

Anyone? :moped:

DBF's best friend has a GMC Canyon....if it's any consolation its a 2005 and he hasn't done much to it. Routine oil changes, and he did have an issue with the tranny- but that was under warranty...

It rides just like the Envoy does- or should say- drives just like the envoy- but it's only a 5 cyl, so it didnt have the power I expected after having my Envoy for 2 years.

If your getting a good deal- go for it- it has a 3/36 warranty

Yeah, thanks! I just don't know anyone that has one. Most people around here have SUV's or Mini-vans!

Thanks for the info!

We have a 2004 Colorado. We bought it used over the winter. It has been great. We haven't had any problems with it. DH drives it to work everyday and it is very comfy for him. We also use it to tow our camper. It tows very well. Ours is a quad-cab so it has 4 doors. The kids have much more leg room then we expected. Overall, I think it is a great truck.

Thanks for the post! DH's has 4 doors also. He got quite a great deal on it and he really needed something a bit bigger than his Ford Ranger. He just sort of happened on it. Glad to hear it's a good truck.

My neighbor bought a new one last summer and really likes it, cept when he tows his 18' boat and the rear can drag sometimes. His is a 2 wheel drive and a 4 wheel drive would not have that problem. His is also the the 4 door.

We bought a 2004 Canyon last year (same as the Colorado) and we love it! It has the full backseat with 4 doors. It rides great and is very roomy! Go for it!
