I just got a Blackberry Curve 2 and I wanted to download Google Maps--well I tried Mapquest too but that wasn't available for my phone. Anyway, I get an error that says "Application terminated" " Google Maps has been denied the "Cross Application communication" permission. Is this something I can change on my phone to allow the application? This is a phone for work so we have work software on there if that makes a difference.

Google and Verizon got into it about a month ago I think all around the proposed Google phone (which sounds like it's going to be inexpensive and big competition) Right now I think it's just a you can't play with my toys if I can't play with yours kind of fight- both drawing lines in the sand.
It may get smoothed over but right now I am pretty sure there is no way around it. But since I have only had my blackberry for about 2 weeks I would say that someone else may have a more helpful answer.

When I was in verizon buying this phone on friday, the guy asked if I wanted to pay $10 a month to have that app work (the map app that is already loaded onto the phone). So that might be your problem right there! I'm not sure if its google maps or mapquest, but im pretty sure you have to buy those too? I'd try calling your phone company, or going into the store where you got the phone.
