Wow!

We had a thunderstorm like you wouldn't believe last night around 8pm!

I saw the lightning in the distance and thought - thunderstorms in March? Nah!

But whammo! Lightning everywhere - thunder rolling... but the wind! Holy Cow! Matt was watching weatherbug and we were clocking gusts of over 60 mph!

Stupid thing took 7 shingles off the end of our roof!

Anyone else have a bad storm?

We had a bad wind storm that knocked down trees and power lines. I don't think there was any rain or lightening, though.

Just some wicked wind but no damage, than a very light dusting of snow. But this afternoon we had some major sleet mixed with snow and got a heavier dusting.

No rainstorm, just snow...3 inches of it, and friday it was 76 degrees. Sheesh, I can't wait for summer.

We had lots of wind...... 60+ mph, but nothing other than that. Lots of branches down in the neighborhood though.......

My friend Jeff (teh fish) lives in North Carolina and he was telling me about the storm he had last night.

Yep. It was bad @8pm-930pm We lost power a couple of times with the heavy winds and rain. Poor Jessie(dog-hence my earlier post) had to hold it in for a couple of hours. She had to be comforted a long time as we watched Extreme Makeover Home Edition. We had a drop of temp. from 68 to about 40 degres. I felt the cold air rushing in our air vents in the kitchen. My hubby had his hands full at work with various computers (20 miles away). We had no tree damage in our yard (oops, we need to have trees for that  ).

Yes, the storm came through here and scared our puppy to death. She was looking out our deck door and a chair blew across it - she loooked just like something off of Scooby Doo, her feet were going 90 mph but she went no where. My mom is still out of power.

Just a covering of snow. Don't you know that we just got rid of ALL of it this weekend. It was the first time I've seen my lawn and such since Christmas. Well that lasted a whole 2 days. Now everything is covered again.
