Anyone have a AAA parking pass?

FYI - Your dates fall within the "blackout dates" for using the pass at the Magic Kingdom (am looking at the back of the pass now). Looks like MGM and EPCOT only black out the week OF Christmas (whereas at MK it's the whole month) and AK has no December blackout dates.

Have fun! I'd love to see the holiday decorations at WDW!!

How would this pass help us? We did not book with AAA, so we would have to have the pass "donated" by a charitable DIS'er. I would hate to ask someone to send one to me if we will not be able to use it....we will have a rental car, and are staying onsite.

Does AAA give these out when you purchase something from them?? IE, reserve a room or book a rental car?

AAA Diamond Parking passes are usually included with your trip purchased through AAA Vacations (it's a free perk-why anyone would pay for it on ebay is beyond me). We purchased our last pkg through AAA Vacations at Easter and a pass was included-it did say it was blacked-out but no one ever turned us away.
What is this? It's a pass that allows you closer parking, usually up by the handicapped part of the parking lots, in the theme parks. It's usually close enough that you can walk to the entrance (or in the case of MK to the monorail or ferry at the TTC) instead of using a tram.

There are limited spots also-so if you arrive late you might not be allowed to that part of the lot anyway. The passes are usually good until Dec 31 of the year issued ie. ours was included in our pkg for April 2004 and runs out at the end of this year. We can use it for our October trip since it doesn't have specific dates on it.

Thanks for the reply Mom!! We are going to Universal, staying on site, so parking isn't really an issue. I was just curious.
