Most replies seem to say this mix will be goo with kids and me for allergies. Thanks, now I just have to convince dh. Anyony potty trained a dog in snow? I'm wondering if it's any harder than in the summer.

We have. Remember that these breads are small. You'll need to trample down the higher snow - they might have trouble squatting if it's too deep. ;)

I have a Bichon and my Parents have one. THey are great for people with allergies the only bad thing is that they are a little stubborn in the training department. Other than that they are such cute dogs they love to be spoiled and cuddled. Good Luck either way both dogs are adorable :thumbsup2

:dogdance: She is adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say that my vote would go towards the Yorkies. I have never been much of a dog lover till I got my little Yorkie. I have 2 kids in my home as well and my 9 year old just loves him to death too. Cocoa does great around the kids. He is the sweetest little guy you would ever want around you. If I ever get another dog it will definately be another Yorkie.

We have a Yorkie Poo, and he is the best dog we have ever had. He absolutely adores our kids, and is a real family dog. He is very smart too!! We also have a friend who has really bad asthma and he is allergic to most dogs, however not with ours. He wants to get one himself!! He does not shed AT ALL!

Awwww he is so stinkin' cute!!!!!! How old is he in that pic?? How often do you have to have him groomed? Any other care tidbits you'd be willing to share? I started another thread about Yorkies and mixes because we are considering one for next Christmas and are starting our research early ;) THANK YOU!

I've heard of Labridoodles but not bichon yorkie mix. I bet the're cute! Love the pictures of the yorkie mix and yorkiepoo!
