Anyone had dinner at Fresh Mediterrean at the Dolphin?

We will be arriving at the Boardwalk on Sat w/ husb,son, daughter-in-law, 3 yr old and 11 mo old grandaughters. I called DD today to change a dinner reserv and the CM suggested we try Fresh Mediterrean Character Dinner at the Dolphin. I have searched these threads and ALL Ears and can't find anything about it. Has anyone eaten there?

Last I knew they only served breakfast and lunch at Fresh, so dinner, character dinner at that must be something new. Check the dolphins website..swandolphin.com. EVerything they have restaurant/entertainment wise is listed there.

Thanks.. I had checked the Dolphin Resort's Dining page. The have Disney Character Dining info that says they have a character dinner nightly from 5-9:30 at Fresh Mediterrean. I guess it must be something new that not many know about yet especially considering I just called DDR at 5 today and got a reser for Sunday.
I'll call the Dolphin tom and get info directly from them..I'll post back what I find out

I am looking forward to hearing whatever info you find. I also saw that on the swan and dolphin web page and was confused, becasue I thought they only had Bfast and lunch, too. I would have thought that if they added dinner...someone on the DIS would have posted about it!

We will be there (Dolphin) next week, so I will check it out (can't dine there, already have some great ADRs for the 3 night trip) and maybe do it on our NEXT Dolphin trip in Sept!

I think that Garden Grove/Gullivers in the Swan is under renovation. That is where the character breakfasts/dinners are normally held.

That's why they're having character dinners in Fresh.

I don't know if the menu is more similar to Gullivers or themed more like Fresh.

I can say that DH and I love Fresh, both for breakfast and lunch.

I checked directly with the Dolphin and Kathy you are right. Gullivers is closed for renovations and they have temporaily moved the character meal to Fresh Medidterrean but with the Gulliver's Menu.

Too bad; both breakfast and lunch at Fresh are scrumptious! Gulliver's is okay, but not of the same calibur.
If you're wanting a character meal in the Epcot area, the Cape May breakfasts are a good bet.
If you're wanting a nice dinner, Il Mulino's (Swan), Yachtsman's Steakhouse (YC), or Flying Fish and Spoodles (BW) offer good eats, too.
