Anyone gone Labor Day weekend?

I had heard that if you must go in the summer, the very end of August was best. So, we are going to do Disney the last few days of August and then Universal over Labor Day weekend. We will stay onsite at Universal so will have FOTL passes.
What can expect for crowds that weekend?

Wow, I did a double take ... my cousin's fiance's mom's name is Jill Schwartz ... but I am guessing you don't have a daughter named Meri.

Anyway, we have gone over Labor Day for the past 2 years. You can expect larger crowds on Saturday and Sunday, with things petering out on Monday. The "crowds" weren't anywhere near 4th of July crazy so no worries. Besides, with FOTL, you will not have any problems. If you stay past Monday, you will find a ghost town. The past 2 years after Labor Day, the RPR went down to < 25% occupancy and the PBH was < 20%. Actually, Labor Day weekend is a great time to go.

Thanks for the info. We have to fly out the afternoon of Labor Day, but on Monday we hope to have a quiet morning at the pools, or some quick last minutes touring. I hope the drop in hotel reservations for the next day will help us get late check-out on Monday!
