We've gone many times in Sept and have never taken bug spray. The Love Bugs are sometimes still out, but they don't appear to bite and are just bothersome. I've heard that if you're going to be in dense woods places like Fort Wilderness, you might want to take spray, but we have never needed it....just take lots of sunscreen and extra T shirts as Sept is still really hot and humid!
Hi, we went the last week in Sept last year. We were fine on Disney property. However, we visited relatives in Clermont, just north of Orlando. I've never, ever seen so many misquitos in my whole life. I was freaking out for everyone to get in the car before they all got in with us!
You won't have a problem!

We ususally go in Sept and never needed bug spray *except* when we stayed at Port Orleans. On the boat ride from DTD home every night, we got eaten alive by mosquitos. Well, I did. My husband is one of those people mosquitos don't like, apparently.
Otherwise, though, I don't think I've ever been bitten at WDW at all.
