Anyone going to WDW soon who would do me a favour PLEASE?

I'm just wondering if any Brits who are going to WDW would do me a favour? I'm taking two people in April for the first time and I wanted to get them a disney dollar as a momento. Ideally, I'd like to get a $20 one and 3 $1 bills...however, it's the 3 single $1 ones that I'm desperate for.

As I say, I'm going in April but I've heard that they have discontinued the dollars and it's only what is left in stock at the park. I'm just worried they won't have any left by the time we get there. I can order them through Disney but it's $15 just to post to a USA address, which seems a little crazy for 3 dollars.

So, I was wondering - is anyone willing to pick up either the $3 or $23 disney dollars for me if I pay them back (in advance or after). I'd be so grateful.

Helen, I'm originally from Cheshire! No, don't pay me up front, really not necessary. I actually have 3 single dollars of the Disney variety so if I don't find those it's not a problem. My darling husband told me last night that the Disney money is no longer in production (a day late and a dollar short, as my US friends might say!), but I'll keep asking around. We are taking the laptop with us so I'll be in contact and let you know when I get the dosh. Is it just one $20 note you want? If I can get, say, two $10 bills, will that be any good?

Oh you are? Fabulous. I'm from Berkshire originally but I've been here since I was 5 (bar a year in the USA).

LOL At least he was on the ball enough to know that they weren't making it. I only found out cause I noticed something in a thread.

Yeah two $10 is fine - anything really. I've got a friend who is coming with me who is having a birthday there so I was thinking of giving him about $20 as part of his gift (any format) and the $1s were just keepsakes. If you can't get $1 I'd take $5. I just think it's a shame they are getting rid of them - such a fun keepsake. Anything you can get would be fantastic THANK YOU soooo much

Just in case, you may be able to find Disney Dollars at guest servies at the Market Place or one of the stores there if the parks are out of them.

Welcome. I usually get my annual pass renewed over there since its more convienient and theres never more than 4 or 5 people in line.Its prob one of the best kept secrets that it even exists.

Hi Helen. Well, here we are on a very wet day in WDW! You will be pleased to hear that I have your 3 single Disney Dollars. I also have 2 x $10 Disney bills. I checked at MK Guest Services and Guest Services at DTD and was told in both places (and a couple of shops I tried) that there were never $20 bills. So, I bow to their superior knowledge and settled for crisp, pristine $10 bills! I do hope this is OK with you?\

If you are happy with this, pm me your address and as soon as I get home I'll put them in the post to you. Regards payment, I would be very happy with $23 US currency as we are in NYC and New England in June.

FYI we were in MK in Dec and a friend had asked us to get some disney $1 for her granchildren.

We tried several shops but the only place we manged to get them was at guest services at City Hall.

I sent DH for them and he is sure that they had $1, $5, $10 & $20 but then again hes a man shopping!!!

OMG tell me about it!!!!!

Ask him to get one thing as I was busy shopping in mainstreet if you get my drift!!!! and you'd think id of asked him to run the park for the day - even ended up writing it down on a piece of paper!!!
